Had the absolute pleasure of delivering to the most spectacular venue this morning. The Tithebarn is the most stunning venue I think I’ve ever seen ….. also the furthest I’ve delivered a cake too. Those country roads were interesting to say the least, don’t think I took a breath for an hour and twenty mins! Got all 4 tiers there in one piece though phew ….. cake photos to follow 😊 ❤️📲

I’m back 😃
Had a lovely 2 weeks in the sun. Lots of relaxing and exploring on Fuerteventura. Beautiful island, wound definitely recommend! Tan won’t be lasting 2 minutes with this miserable weather, I’m blooming freezing 😭
Back to work today and I’ve got a very busy week ahead with 3 weddings and birthday cakes too 😬 I’ll be replying to emails and messages as quickly as possible but please bear with me as I think there’s about 40 people waiting for a reply.

The office and kitchen doors are now closed. And the oven will be off for the next 2 weeks.
I’m taking a proper break away from work ☀️ and won’t be checking any emails or messages during this time. September is now full and October has very limited capacity. I return to work on Monday 23rd September and will endeavour to reply to everyone as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience x

ABSOLUTELY BUZZING to see this review on 3 Best Rated :)

We have been so pleased with our daughter’s 2nd and 4th birthday cakes. We had a double unicorn cake with each connected by an edible sugar rainbow with 3d unicorn sugar decorations and cupcakes - it was amazing. We tested Jen’s skills once again with a 3d Bluey and 3d Bingo cake with 48 cupcakes. Jen was so kind and delivered the cake to our venue for us. All cakes have been baked perfectly, really delicious and surpassed our expectations. We can’t wait for our next cake! A* so so good. I would advise to book a good few months in advance and leave a deposit to secure Jen’s services. You don’t want to miss out. - Lorna G

It was a challenge to tie in 2 very different themes into one cake …. A red dinosaur and purple unicorn was the brief 😃 using 2 cakes was the perfect solution and was very well received by the customer and as it seems the party venue too 😃😍

Back to work today after the most gorgoeus week away in East Yorkshire with my daughter ☀️😊
Please bear with me as I’ve got lots of messages and emails to catch up with today as well as all of this weeks cakes to prep for.
Also a polite reminder that I sadly can’t chase every deposit that I ask for. If we’ve messaged back and forth and agreed a design and price then the next step is you pay the deposit I kindly request and then I check my account and confirm receipt so we both know you’re booked in. If you haven’t had confirmation from me then your cake is NOT booked in and the date you requested will be released within a few days of not hearing from you. Thanks x

I’ve always tried to avoid writing posts like this as I’m lucky to have some of the loveliest customers. BUT in order to protect myself I sadly feel the need to clearly explain ……

I ALWAYS ask for a DEPOSIT to place an order. This needs to be paid BEFORE any work can commence or materials/toppers can be sourced. I’m sadly going to have to implement a paid within 2 days rule once I’ve supplied my bank details. I’m afraid due to demand dates can’t be held indefinitely (unless it’s been discussed and agreed with me first) and I don’t have time to chase every person who enquiries and shows interest but then doesn’t pay a deposit. You’d be surprised just how many enquiries I get that never turn into orders, I can’t spend my days chasing everyone.

Please think of my small business! You wouldn’t hire a venue and not pay upfront or at least pay a deposit. Simply showing an interest and discussing a design and price DOES NOT mean your order has been placed. The harsh bottom line (which isn’t easy for me to type) ……..

NO DEPOSIT = NO ORDER PLACED = NO CAKE

If only I’d thought of this before! Worked till 1am on emails this morning and just finished for the day now. Bake off in the bath 😍😍😍😍 before anyone mentions the bottle of water, don’t worry the gin is in the fridge for later 😜
