My first homegrown bouquet! All freshly cut flowers from our allotment including a mix of autumnal rudbeckia, strawflowers, amaranthus, panicum, foxtail barley & statice. I'm obsessed! 🍂

It's been nearly 6 months since I got my allotment space so here's an overdue update and a few highlights...

1. The most perfect looking dahlia
2. If you didn't know by now... my favourite dried florals, strawflowers 🤍
3. Our handmade compost bin made from upcycled pallets
4. Seeing the flowers attaract lots of bees 🐝
5. Homegrown statice, another favourite dried variety of mine
6. Rudbeckia looking lovely (credits to my dad for growing these from seed)
7. Homegrown lettuce, rhubarb and black currents. (Sadly our strawberries were one of many failures, maybe next year 🤞)

We have had some failures at the allotment so far but my strawflowers have done so well so I can't complain! I'm obsessed with all the different colours, can't wait to make some arrangements with these soon...new workspace pending!

Just a post to show my face and say hello to any new followers 👋

Also just wanted to update you all on why I've been quiet around here recently! As you may have noticed our website is currently closed as I am in the process of moving house. All my dried florals are now carefully packed away ready for a fresh start in my new workspace. Really hoping we won't be out of action for too long, but I will keep my socials updated 🤞 And expect lots of allotment content in the meantime 👩‍🌾

That also means you won't find us at any local markets over the next few months BUT you can find a selection of our dried florals in store at Feeling Cosy in Getliffes yard, Leek.

Very proud of my helichrysum strawflowers so here's a dedicated post for them!
Things are slowly taking shape at the allotment. Still lots to do but we're 4 months in and already have some beautiful everlasting flowers blooming.

Vintage bud vases & arrangements 🌾

Feels good to get back to creating again! I've been spending a lot of my time at the allotment recently and I've been really focused on the growing side of things, which explains the lack of posts here lately.

Small businesses are having a pretty tough time at the moment, myself included to be honest and it's been pretty disheartening and demotivating! So a little time away has felt much needed and I'm glad to have some work to do behind the scenes focusing on keeping my plot alive 😅 🌱

But I'm getting stock ready for my market next weekend at and thought I'd share some of the stock I'll be bringing along with me, hope to see you there, praying for some lovely weather 🤞

Exciting updates...
As you may have seen on my story, I now have an allotment plot 🥳 I have big plans to turn this space into my dream cut flower garden but mainly it's a space where I can experiment and learn along the way. In the meantime we have a lot of tidying up and planning to do! Stay tuned for updates and hopefully some home grown flowers soon 🤞

Mini wreaths 🌾
Each one is completely handmade and unique! I think they're perfect for hanging around the house, on door handles or cupboards, or you could even use them as a fancy gift topper.
They will be available at my next market (Trentham Makers Market) and listed on my website shortly after.

A custom dried vase arrangement for a customer last week! She asked for pink and neutrals to match the colour scheme in her bedroom 🤍 Always happy to do custom orders if you want a specific colour theme to match your spaces 🌾
