Liv and Dan got married earlier this year at The Oaks Wedding Barn!
After some great reveals during the wedding preparations, they met in the barn to say their vows!
We were very lucky with the weather!
We got outside to do all the family portraits and then headed out again to do some couples portraits in some gorgeous golden light.
After a lovely relaxed day celebrating with friends and family, Liv and Dan spent the night dancing away with everyone on the dance floor!

Hannah and James had the most amazing day at Colshaw Hall earlier this year - My first wedding of 2025!
The preparations were so lovely with a gorgeous first look from dad (and who knew a group of girls could get so excited about a bubble machine)!
Hannah and Jame's ceremony took place in The Stables, a beautiful wooden outbuilding in the grounds of Colshaw Hall.
With a Disney theme and letters written to each other that they will open together on their first anniversary, they made it really special!
After the ceremony, we nipped out into the freezing cold for a short time to get some portraits before we headed into the wedding breakfast and listened so some amazing and very heartfelt speeches!
Before the evening fun began, we spent a few minutes getting some art!

Group shots don't have to be boring.…
While some couples may not want many, I believe they're an important part of capturing the memories. Even if you're not keen on them, I always suggest including at least a photo with your closest loved ones—this way, I can ensure I have some beautiful shots of those special people in your life.
I try to make it as smooth and quick as possible, and more importantly as fun as possible, allowing you to get back to enjoying your celebration!

I’m always drawn to the Mother of the Groom on the wedding day!
Weddings always seem to concentrate on the Mother of the Bride, but we forget that the Grooms mum is also watching her son become a husband!
Maybe I see it this way because I am mum to an only boy and hopefully one day I will be in that role!
At Ellie and Jack’s wedding a few weeks ago, I noticed a moment when the bridal party were walking into church, when all eyes were on the bride and her entourage, Jack’s mums eyes were locked onto her son!
I just love this moment and it totally shows the love of her mum and her boy!

I have witnessed some great speeches over the years as a wedding photographer!
I have heard songs, poems, rhymes and some wonderful words read out by nervous fathers, mothers, grandparents, brothers, sisters, brides and best friends!
I am a sucker for speeches and you will often find me sneakily wiping away a tear or three from behind my camera... 📸 😭
