Such a special surprise at the Upper House wedding open day on Sunday when my recent bride and groom, Beth and Dan walked in with a gorgeous bunch of flowers for me and a card! 😍
I really do have the most wonderful couples! 🥰

A great day at The Upper House, Barlaston yesterday as they hosted their autumn wedding open day!
It was a busy day and we all got to speak to some lovely couples!
Absolutely love these guys and feel very privileged to have a great support network of amazing suppliers!
And good luck to Ellie, who goes off soon on maternity leave! We will miss you (but can’t wait for baby cuddles)!

Ellie and Jack got married earlier this year!
They met when they were both studying at , so it was only right they headed back there to get married in the beautiful chapel on the campus!
After the ceremony, we took some time to explore the grounds of the university, including the famous blossom trees, before we went back to for the party!
They surprised their guests with a singing and waiter who got everyone up on their feet dancing!
A brilliant part of the day!
After another amazing Upper House sunset, it was time for the first dance and the party!

Confetti is one of the best ways to get the celebrations started after the ceremony is over.
This is my favourite time to do this shot, as it brings everyone together in one big moment of joy!
Alex and Dom’s confetti walk was so much fun and we got some great images from it!
If any one ever asks the question, “should we get confetti”? My answer is always going to be a big yes!

I’ve known Laura and Dave for a long time!
They are such a lovely couple who couldn’t be more suited!
I always remember telling Dave at work to just “bloody ask her out” as he was always besotted with Laura! Turns out Laura felt the same (thank God!), so to photograph them on their big day it was special!

Kate and Chris had the most gorgeous, intimate and unique wedding day! After being together for a long time and having two children, they just wanted a gorgeous chilled day and that’s exactly what they achieved!
They are such a lovely family so I was really looking forward to their plans and after their pre-wedding shoot, I knew we were going to get some great pictures!
I met them all at Newcastle Registry Office where they got married in a lovely, heartfelt ceremony where both their son and daughter did two of the most amazing readings (not a dry eye in the place)!
After lots of hugging and congratulations from their wedding guests, we used the Queens Gardens as the backdrop to their family formals and confetti photographs.
Then the fun started and we headed off to The Hop Lab in Knypersley for an evening of real ale, laughter and lots of sunshine.
Guys, you were a joy to spend the day with and I wish all four of you so much love and happiness!

The day my hubby, Mathew and myself have waited for such a long time!
I’m so proud of what we have achieved in so little time!
It just goes to show what you can do when the universe changes your path slightly…..
I’m so proud of what we’ve created and can’t see where the next 12 months takes us!
