Hi everyone! I hope you are all well, big hugs to your little ones, I miss you all.

Ive popped on here to tell you all about my latest venture. A change in direction for me, but one I hope to succeed in.

I have started my own business doing domestic cleans, but also offering any help you may need - such as taking in a food delivery and putting it away, changing bedding, tidy up, organising, general clean, carpet refresh (extra charges apply), deep clean. This can be a one off or a regular service.

My page is Maid of Dreams and I'd be super grateful if you could like my page and help me to spread the word.

My rate is £15 per hour, regardless of what you'd like done, and I currently have an introductory offer of 3 hours for £40.

My boys have mentioned this a few times as children at school watch it.... it's awful. Whoever creates this stuff is sick.

This is Huggy Wuggy - a sinister character that children are coming across online.

Parents are being urged not to let their children watch terrifying TikTok and YouTube videos of the killer teddy.

The bear sings about "hugging and killing" and asks those watching to "take their last breath".

Police have issued a warning over the character after some kids have been seen recreating the bear's actions on the playground.

One line says: "I could hug you here forever, til you breathe your last breath together."
It continues: "My teeth sharp and ready, in my grasp, yeah they're deadly".
The blue bear also invites people to "lean in for a spine-breaking embrace".

We went to Castaway in Congleton yesterday. They have a Harry Potter theme this week making potions, choosing a wand, characters, and an animal show too. If you haven't been before, there is also slides, sandpit, bouncy castles, role play, jungle room, go karts....and so much more!

It's half price with voucher code LOVEMAGIC too! Well worth a visit.

We are very happy to say we have now reopened our sensory room for our Newcastle District families 😁

We have reduced the number of people allowed in at one time down to a maximum of 4 (babies are included in the count) this is due to C02 reading still being required.

The cost to hire the sensory room for one hour is £5.50, the cost covers upto 4 people or FPCs accepted for individuals.

If you would like to reserve a time in the sensory room please call the reception team on 01782 296100 during opening hours to book 😊

Good morning.

I apologise for the lateness is telling everyone.

😪 Unfortunately I have to cancel Playgroup tomorrow. I hadn't sold many places with people going away and having plans, but I was still going to go ahead with the group with it being the last one. I wanted to say goodbye to everyone.

In the last 24 hours I've had a number of people cancel for various reasons and it's no longer an option to go ahead.

I will of course refund everyone who has paid and not already cancelled and had their refund.

😪 I'll miss you all, thank you again to every single one of you who has supported me and my business. I'm really sorry its not worked out. X

Good morning!

I hope you're all well.

As you know the last ever Tommy Tot Playgroup is on 31st May, and we are planning a Jubilee theme.

I know that lots of my regulars are away, and we have already said our goodbyes. 😪

The booking for the last session will close on Sunday 22nd May. This is so that I know I have enough attending to go ahead, and can buy everything we need ready for our last session.

Should I not sell enough spaces, it will be cancelled and refunds given.

Thank you all for everything over the years. I will miss you.

In the event of there not being enough attending, which is possible with it being half term, I will issue refunds to all those who book.

If you are interested in taking over the Playgroup, please send me a message. I am working with the Village Hall in the hope that it can be carried on under a voluntary basis. We just need a group of people willing to muck in. It can be run term time only, that's not a problem.

⚠️ Important ⚠️

Good morning everyone!

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

I am posting this morning with some sad news. I have made the big decision to close Tots of Fun.

As many of you know I have already reduced down to just running Playgroup and taken a second job, however, after going through all the figures from the last few weeks it isn't viable with attendance dropping, and some weeks I am actually losing money. My hope was to keep Playgroup going but I can't afford to do this, and sadly I'm not in a position to do it on a voluntary basis when there is paid work available to me.

This is a very hard decision for me to make, it certainly hasn't been easy. Like everything, it comes down to money, and with costs rising around us I need to be earning.

Tomorrow's session will be going ahead, and then the next and final session will a Jubilee special on 31st May 🇬🇧

I will miss each and every one of you so much. I can't tell you how much is has meant to me to have regulars coming along each week, having a chat and catch up, seeing your little ones grow and develop. I will miss those smiles so much. It will take me a while to get over this!

I will work with Sue at the Village Hall to see if there is anyone able to take over the running of the Playgroup. If anyone is interested, please let me or Sue know as soon as possible.

Good evening everyone!

I hope you've all had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend.

As we all know, the price of everything has gone up, and most of us are feeling the pinch in one way or another just now. Tots of Fun is my baby that I created from scratch in 2019. It's been hard to get going again after Covid lockdowns, and now we have been hit again by more difficulties.

I had a tough decision to make, but for the needs of my family I have taken another job and I am cutting right back to only running the Playgroup on a Tuesday morning, and I'm no longer looking for other venues.

I want to thank all my Monday regulars for coming along each week. I have loved seeing you all and watching little ones grow in confidence, and size! It's amazing how much they change from one week to the next. Thank you for support and I'm sorry I haven't been able to continue.

I still plan to do special events for Halloween and Christmas etc, and birthday parties, so keep an eye on my page!

I hope to see as many of you as possible on Tuesdays, pop along and say hi!
