MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 16 - The Friendliest Vicar
There's nothing better than a warm, loving inviting vicar who brings everyone into the wedding ceremony, and makes you feel a part of it. Two particularly memorable church services were at Matt & Jenna's and Emma & Rob's weddings. Both were held with such good humour and grace. MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 10 - The Aisle Surprise
Kir decided to bring her husband to-be, Sam, to tears as he waited for her at the altar. She surprised him with a pre-recorded message, that made us all laugh and well up too.
Such a lovely idea, and one which set the tone of the day which was love-filled and joyous for all.

Ben's mum gave the most emotional speech at Ben' & Kelly's Wedding Ceremony... and it had me in tears to be honest.... (not the best whilst filming!) Then she followed it up with this reading, which I feel is the best and most original I've heard in a long while. It's 'Time Travellers' by Terah Cox.

Okay, I recognise that the need for recognition and approval, reflects my low self-esteem as much as it does on my work, but I do SO so value the kind feedback and reviews I get throughout the year. I'm blessed to be in a creative role, and to hopefully be able to produce something that couples will treasure for the years ahead means such a lot to me.. I know that I'm truly blessed to have been a small part of such wonderful people's journeys.. MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 5 - The Love Story
One of my favourite things about this job, is meeting lovely young couples who remind me just how lucky I am to have met my soul-mate too... Some choose to make their 'Love Story' film with me prior to their wedding.. This is a fabulous way to get to know each other well before the day, and not only makes a perfect keepsake of what brought them together, but enhances the day 10*fold for us both as we're so much closer for the big day, hence it's more like old friends meeting up then being a supplier. This wonderful Love Story from Gee & Spence was one of my favourites of the year - Here's a minute from their 8 min film. Thanks G&S - You're absolute stars. ###xx

MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 4 - The Ceremony Performance
This spectacular rendition of Pie Jesu, was given by Lydia's bridesmaid, Isadora. I've witnessed a lot of musical performances at weddings, and all are heartfelt and wonderful, but this one rightly stays in my memory - and with a little audio refining magic, such as mixing in reverb and removing unwanted noise, it turned out beautifully,.... Mark & Lydia's wedding was a class act from start to finish.

MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 3 - The Venue
Nestled in the beautiful hills of Llangollen, sits Llantysilio Hall. Anne & Wynn, not happy with their wedding at The Grosvenor Hotel, Chester two days before, decided to gather their nearest and dearest for a weekend away with a difference. An incredible marquee was erected, and the hall was lit up. We enjoyed capturing the sheer beauty of it all on our drone..

MEMORABLE MOMENT DAY 1 - 'The Groom's Performance'
2024 gave me such wonderful wedding memories. Each was unique and special, so it's hard to single anyone out- However I'm going to post 20 memories from my 2024 weddings, starting with this beauty..
Will, the Groom aids his brothers on the tambourine at their post ceremony lawn celebration. Just magical and something that a photo wouldn't have done justice.

I've been bizarrely suspended from Facebook this past few months due to an unknown hacker, and still trying to get through to Facebook to help me sort - out.. Don't think posts are working but here I go to find out... Although I can't see myself as I can't log in!! Perhaps someone can let me know if there are still out there... Instagram is working thankfully which is the main one I use so...... phew !

It's been a labour of love, from start to finish - and I've felt blessed to have been a part of it all... G+S are a couple that quite simply feel more like friends or family than clients....
& it's what makes this job the most incredible joy and honour...

Well, I've won .... "International Wedding Award." ☺️
Although let's face it.. what is an award...? & does it really mean anything.?
Really it's someone else putting a 'value' on your work....
Ultimately I'm old enough now, to realise that only I can do this...
The only real value I put on my work is two-fold -
1) Do I feel that I've produced something that I'm proud of, and hits the mark
(technically, emotionally, artistically etc.)
and then hopefully
2) Do my couples feel emotionally moved enough to get in touch and feel that they have to share their reactions. (this is always an invaluable payment in itself)

I'm thrilled to say that I'm blessed to have both 95%+ of the time...
and that alone is reward and award in itself...

Thanks again to all my wonderful couples for your love and support throughout my growth into this career, and I'm so excited to see what this years weddings will enable me to create in film....
