***SAVE THE DATE***

The Scottish Unaffiliated Showjumping Sunshine Tour will be on the 7th-10th of August in 2025!! We have Netherton booked, and Auchlishie are standing by to provide extra stabling. All schools are still off on those dates, and the weather will be no doubt fantastic!!

We will be looking for sponsorship for next year, and this should allow us to put on a much bigger event whilst still keeping the fun factor. We are hoping to arrange a bar and catering, along with some evening entertainment - we thought a bucking bull would be great fun but all suggestions welcome!

Brian Dargo, our course builder, gave a very informative talk and course walk to many of the competitors at Netherton Equestrian today. Some fantastic jumping was seen throughout all of the classes.

I'm running a show over 4 days at Netherton Equestrian in August and I'm looking for a mobile bar/horsebox bar business to come in for the duration - does anyone know anyone that would be interested (I think they might need to be Scotland based for licensing reasons)?

This is the sort of thing...

60cm: Archie Nicoll and Alidante's Dream
70cm: Emese Soos and Hugo
80cm: Eliza Riba-Segues and Wexford Showtime
90cm: Natalie Carroll and Levanorella W
1m: Maddison Peel and Black Jack
1.10: Jenni Blair and Life of Reilly

Isla McKay won the 'Most Improved Junior' award, presented by Stirlingshire Mobile tack.

A huge thanks must go out to the team at Netherton who are so helpful and provided us with a brilliant venue for the 3 days! Also, big shout out to top course builder (and comedian), Brian Dargo, who provided brilliant, progressive courses over the 3 days culminating in some very tough championship style tracks today! Linda Lucey was amazing on the collecting ring - tough but fair and keeping everything running smoothly over the show!

We must also thank all of the sponsors who were so generous in their support - it is impossible to run shows like this without their support.

Just like human athletes, equine athletes need to have, not only physical fitness, strength and balance but also emotional and mental fitness, strength and balance.
It's this combination that will give them the opportunity to give their best.
My remote sessions work on four levels, restoring balance on the physical, emotional, mental and energetic bodies.
If one is out of balance it will affect the rest.

Equine Reiki helps free your horse of stress and tension by allowing the natural energy to flow more fluidly round their body.
Energy flows through the body of a horse in good health much like an electric current. However, a number of factors can interfere with this flow. Among them are long periods standing in a stable, physical injuries, trauma, dietary changes, emotional problems, training issues, or a combination of these problems. Any blockage of energy can result in physical, psychological, or behavioural problems.

Equine Reiki helps to improve performance
*oxygenate the blood-boosts the immune system
*reduce spooking-horses cope better-excellent for young horses in training or if the horse is new to you, to build confidence with each other in the early days
*helps clear toxins from the system-clears the lymphatic system, help expedite healing and recovery
*helps with colic, choke, laminitis- working with vet permission
*helps with travelling, overnight at shows, reduces stress in the warm up etc
*helps young horses from starting, to first events and shows - Keeping your horse in a calm and relaxed state helps with trust, focus and confidence. This not only helps to produce a safer and more dependable horse in the early stages, but also deepens the bond between horse and rider.
