We have recently been asked by one of our customers if there’s anything that can be done to deactivate the Power On/Off leaver when playing so they don’t accidentally Power the chair off?! mo-Vis Partnership

New Partnership Announcement 🚨 In competitive sport, millimetres can make all the difference. With a mo-vis Mini Joystick system you can control your whole chair and all of its functions with just your fingertips! We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with mo-vis to offer our customers the very best specialist joysticks on the market. Over the last 12 months we have successfully piloted the use of both the Micro and Multi Joysticks on the Strike Force, allowing many of our customers with neuromuscular conditions to make better use of their chairs. The Micro Joystick is a small proportional joystick that can be controlled with minimal force (+- 8.5 gr). The joystick is supplied with two ends, a small ball and a cup that allows for user preference based on their dexterity. As the name suggests, The Multi Joystick is multifunctional and can be controlled by chin, finger, lip or other body parts. The Joystick is situated between the Micro Joystick and the more standard All-round Joysticks, with a force requirement of 50 gr. Both of these options are compatible with the Strike Force as well as the vast majority of day chairs too! Along with the joystick we are also able to supply light touch function buttons allowing you to operate your powered seating features and navigate through the controller profiles with ease. All of this can be housed in one of our custom built controller mounts, which have been designed to be adjustable to give our customers flexibility in positioning.
