So that’s it - all over! 12 weeks ago I’d just donated my kidney - Laura Phillips was opposite me with a shiny new kidney working wonders and mine was somewhere in the country thankfully doing the same. We are both back at work this week and yet it feels like only yesterday. It’s was tough at times but Stu Collins did an amazing job of looking after me 😘 Thanks bab!
Also 2 weeks ago I lost my best friend Jessica Brettell. I am grateful for the extra time I got to spend with her towards the end although neither of us knew this was the case. So here’s to life - Tomorrow is not promised, take those trips, make those plans - it waits for no-one.

5 and half weeks post surgery! Another 6ish weeks to get back to fully fit but surgeon is happy so back to fitness. A very slow 5km but got round. Good for the mind - let’s hope my body agrees in the morning!

As a few of you know I’ve been in hospital recently having donated a kidney. Quick update and everything is going well. The nhs is so wonderful we really are lucky to have them. Heavy lifting is strictly not allowed so I’ll be out of action for a while but I’ve got a great team to support me and I’m still here in charge of admin. Keep those enquires coming - gives me something to do x

If there’s any good reason to have a birthday party turning 90 is right up there!! Last nights function. Balloon centrepieces, lights up numbers and crisp white cloths. Thanks to Nellie-May Parties for sorting this booking for me whilst I’m out of action. Local suppliers supporting each other is what business is all about.
