💏It's time for another woodland wedding at Fordhall this Saturday.🌳

Please note, that our farm trails will be temporarily re-directed during the times of 11.30am-1.30pm.

🥾Our Welly Walk, pools, Ringwork and Bailey site, and fields will remain accessible throughout the day.

The Farm Shop and Cafe also remain open all day ☕️

Calling all Princes and Princesses! 👑👑

We are trying to find ourselves some amazing young people who would love the opportunity to be part of a special day here at the Hospice at our “Around the World” Summer Fayre on Saturday 2 September 2023.

Our Very Important People will lead our Hospice Parade in their very own open-top car, take part in the opening of the Fayre in the Hospice grounds and represent the Hospice for the day, meeting our fabulous supporters and generally having great fun!

We would love you to nominate that special person who you think could be our Prince or Princess. This year, we are looking for a Prince and Princess in two age groups: 5-9 years and 10-14 years.

If you would like to nominate someone, all you need to do is send an email along with a photograph telling us why they are a deserving nominee to [email protected] and our sponsor, My Little Teepee & Co. will select the winners.

Nominations need to be with us by Friday 18 August, and the winners will be notified by email by 25 August 2023.

Please make sure that you have the permission of a parent/guardian before nominating your VIP and that they are available all day on Saturday 2 September 2023. A parent/guardian will also need to be available to supervise the VIP during and after the Parade.

Please tag your friends, your family and help us to find our Princes and Princesses!

Tom and Alex wanted a bespoke wedding ceremony, which included references to all the things they loved and what their wedding day meant to them. They loved crosswords and so I included a crossword clue as part of the ceremony. Their guests had to guess the answer.

Alice and James got married at Hadsham Farm in April.
They wanted a laid back ceremony, which would make their friends laugh and reflected the two of them as a couple.
They wrote their own vows, and signed a certificate of commitment, as well as sharing their love story and exchanging rings.

📢 CALLING ALL STALL HOLDERS 📢

We would love to hear from you if you own or run a street food, craft or other business and would like to have a stall at our Black Country Duck Race© and Family Festival taking place on Sunday 9 July 2023 at The Waterfront, Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill. The event runs from 12 noon until early evening and will feature our community Duck Race, our Corporate Duck Race and entertainment throughout the day. With free parking and free entry, we are expecting this to be a popular event.

Please note that this is an outdoor event and all monies raised will support the work of the Hospice.
