John Peel Centre for Creative Arts

John Peel Centre for Creative Arts The John Peel Centre is a vibrant grassroots live music venue and community space based in Suffolk.

The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts is an ambitious project to provide a lasting tribute to the life and career of the much-loved broadcaster and create a high quality, community-owned, Arts Centre in the heart of Suffolk. The team behind the project set out to bring an unused and decaying historic building back into use and create an inspirational environment to foster the creative energy of l

ocal people and enable wider enjoyment of the arts. We want to help people to access and participate in cultural activities and events. Our goal is to see more members of the community able to participate in and enjoy the benefits of pursuing their own artistic endeavours and supporting the efforts of others. Please send all enquiries regarding hires and bookings to [email protected]

We're excited to be the choice venue for "This World Is Ours," a fantastic play written and devised by Nicola Werenowska and the young people of Stowmarket Youth Theatre!

"Who's in charge? Whose world is it? From a school classroom today, to a high speed train, to a post-apocalyptic Stowmarket - with humour, music and a chorus of crows, our play questions our relationship to power and asks how far will it take us?"

Come and support Stowmarket Youth Theatre and their amazing show on Saturday 19th July - tickets available through our website 🎟

The legend himself, Beans on Toast, is BACK in Stowmarket - tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am 🙌

A travelling troubadour for the ages, Beans is an entertainer, singer, songwriter, storyteller – and a master of his art.

His songs celebrate the human spirit, from the beauty of the everyday to the dilemmas of the modern world. They connect with listeners in a unique and powerful way, earning him a devoted following across the globe and making him a staple on the UK festival circuit.

Announcing as our headliner for the JPC stage at .fest! Smashing and selling out venues worldwide, The Molotovs have become one of the UK’s hottest young bands. Sharp, punchy anthems delivered with highly charged stagecraft that leaves absolutely nothing in the dressing room and resonates with an eclectic audience of those in the know. Still in their teens, they’ve been handpicked by the likes of The Libertines, The S*x Pistols, Adam Ant and Blondie to share the stage, and have been championed by Green Day both on stage and in press. With another year of relentless touring and festival appearances, including Isle of Wight Festival and touring Europe with iDKHOW, The Molotovs truly are primed for a 2025 breakthrough.

So to recap, here's the full JPC @ Fomo Fest lineup - The Molotov's, State of Satta, The Downsetters, Black Lounge, Plastic Youth, Wilswood Buoys, Arthur Black, Grace Calver.
