After deciding on your preferred vision for your event, the Warwick Events team meticulously plan, with clear, set, goals for all partners involved. Warwick Events have a fully transparent costing structure. There are no kick-backs or mark-ups; no commission and no surprise hidden costs. All of our employees are partners in our company and a percentage of our profits support our local community.

As of today, 11th February 2022, Warwick Events is making the bold and brave move to STOP POSTING on Twitter and Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). And instead of WhatsApp we encourage sending instant messages on the app Signal – it’s just like WhatsApp but it’s an independent non-profit.

We recognise that social media can do great things for small businesses, charities and champion worthy causes. However, at the moment, we do not believe Meta are taking responsibility for the hate speech, misinformation and clickbait actors that spread and divide our communities. The primary motive of these companies is to keep you on their platforms. This engagement data drives their advertising, sales and profits. So, it is not surprising that they are hardwired not to promote ‘neutral’ speech: they need to captivate you; whether that’s with real or fake stories, they don’t care!

Fundamentally, we feel these platforms are causing more harm in society than good.

If Meta change and become more responsible, making sure its platforms do no harm, then we will be delighted to reactivate our account. In the meantime, we encourage you to think about the power social media holds. And to consider the impact this is having on the young and impressionable.

Did you spot our last post? Exciting news - Warwick Events is now a Certified B Corporation®!

With such a momentous announcement, we sought help from our amazing local design agency The Launch Agency. They helped us capture our three core values.

Do you know the ‘B’ in B Corp™ stands for ‘Better for All’? Makes sense doesn’t it. Events have the power to do so much good. Craft them the right way, benefits should extend beyond guests, clients and suppliers - into the community and the planet.

And if you have been a guest at one of our events or been a client, supplier or part of our team, we hope you’d agree that people are at the heart of everything we do.

Finally, our most important value; supporting local, fresh talent. Events can give opportunities to so many people. Whether it’s a small start-up; a charity; a street food vendor; a community choir; a local artist; a dancer; an actor etc. An event should be a stage, platform or stepping stone to a new audience. Your event can give someone the break they need. As cliché as it might sound: your event has the power to change lives. All the time, you and your guests benefit from new and exciting talent. WIN, WIN.

Warwick Events is now a Certified B Corporation®. 🎤 drop.

Haven’t heard of a B Corp™? ‘Gen’ up here.

We’re heralding a change in the way companies operate. We’re taking responsibility and accountability for our decisions and actions. And we’re proud that we’re joining a strong community who all use their business as a force for good. We’re in amazing company with The Body Shop, Finisterre, innocent, Alpro and Danone to name but a few.

Ultimately, we want to have a profitable business but not to the detriment of people or the planet.

Based in Stratford-upon-Avon, we should probably use the words of the most quoted author, William Shakespeare. Instead, we’re going with Kool and the Gang and a bit of ‘Celebrate good times, come on! It's a celebration’!!!

Super proud of this amazing bunch. Shout out to Sally Crane Photography who is (as always) behind the lens and to Jess. Because of that pesky virus, Jess missed out on our first celebration of ‘b’coming a B Corp™. But when she’s out of isolation we’ll just have to party all over again.

We’ve been here, there and everywhere! Last quarter (until Omicron hit) was our busiest and best quarter to date. We also have a super exciting announcement to make - so stay tuned. Here’s my favourite hotel from the past few months - the quality and detail in this new property is to be commended. The staff are incredible and they looked after us so well. Great to see a five star hotel championing local artists and makers.

Our Story

We are the worst attendees around.

Yep, you’ve read that correctly. That’s exactly who we are.

You’ve probably got that one friend who always puts on the best parties; always organises great get-togethers; always researches the coolest bar to meet up for drinks; ‘finds’ a hidden gem of a lunch spot; always has a packed itinerary when you go away…well (modestly blushing) that describes all of us at Warwick Events.

And why do we do it? Because we hate going to rubbish events. We see the missed opportunities; the disjointedness (yes, there’s a gift Oxford English Dictionary, a new word for you!!) and the lack of empathy for guests. The magic carpet ride doesn’t happen by accident. It takes lots of thought, care and a genuine passion to make people happy.

Both at home and work, we share this curious desire to ‘out do’ ourselves. Constantly searching on how to create another level of excitement; do something different; change the way of doing things or add an extra layer of luxury.

Since 2010, we’ve worked within a restricted 50 mile radius of our office in Stratford-upon-Avon. We are really proud to make a difference supporting and working in our local community. Partnering with the amazing people and places in this area we can immerse you in this wonderful part of the world. Celebrating the heritage, culture and countryside: the finest as well as the most quirky!

But fundamentally, we are a team who genuinely care. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, the event industry almost overnight ground to a halt.

We took a step back and asked ourselves some big questions. Why do we organise events? What were the defining moments of our last 10 years? What do we want to achieve in the future? Ultimately, what is our PURPOSE?

The positive from COVID-19 is that it has given us the gift of time. Time to think. Time to reflect. And time to really challenge ourselves.

And after many weeks of work and consideration, we have distilled our values and ethos into our purpose statement:

Our job at Warwick Events is to give events meaninful purpose, creating lasting impact and a change for good.

Because from June 2020, we will be a sustainable event company. We will use our business as a force for good. ‘We Care’ is at the heart of our business, it is the main feature in our logo - so for those of you that know us, this step won’t be a surprise.

Surely anyone can claim to be sustainable? Make a few concessions, like removing plastic water bottles from your event; up the recycling and then just off-set the carbon…

That’s where we are different. We are 100% committed to the cause. There’s no greenwashing here. And to prove this, we have already started the challenging process of becoming a certified B Corporation. This will make us the first certified B Corporation Event Management Company in the World.

We’re guessing there might be others who want to do the right thing. And we know that sharing our story (complete with the bumps along the way!) might give you inspiration and motivation to make changes to your event, your life or in your company.
