One aspect that is super important to us on every job is recycling and repurposing designs.

In advance of our jobs we always make our clients aware of what could be done with their flowers post event. For us these include creating pressed flower artworks and making up bouquets to enjoy our flowers for longer.

Last week was a very busy one for us but we feel so happy with how many of our clients chose to do this. We made up over 100 bouquets for various events, we hope they are bringing joy to their recipients!

Pressed Flower workshop with
21st & 22nd May @ 6pm

To celebrate Chelsea in Bloom, we will be hosting a pressed flower workshop with Monica Vinader at their Chelsea store. We will be taking guests through our flower pressing methods, using the same wild flower stems that are grown at Monica Vinader’s biodiversity project. In the second half, we will be showing everyone how to create beautiful stationary with our recycled pressed flowers.

Tickets are £25 per person and are redeemable against anything bought at Monica Vinader on the night.

We love working with like-minded brands and are so excited for our first workshop with Monica Vinader. We also love to be in a hub of creativity and to see our guest connecting with like-minded people. Come and learn something new and take away one of our flower presses, beautiful hand made cards and maybe some sustainable jewellery!

Series of recent pressings 🪴

This was a truly magical event and we so enjoyed thinking up this concept for at Cliveden House.

The theme was transformations and we based this on the life cycle of a plant.

The stages included:
- Seedlings and in shoot
- Plants in their pots
- In bloom and at their best
- In seed pod form
- Pressed flower seed packets

ABOUT US

Flower & Press creates luxurious floral designs for all occasions, both within London and further afield. We supply flowers for weddings, events, installations and a number of regular contracts for both corporate and private clients. Our designs are inspired by nature and change with the seasons.

Creating long lasting floral artworks has become one of our favourite parts of our business and we make up a number of bespoke commissions as well as creating pieces to sell via our shop. These are regularly updated and include pressed flower art pieces and stationary for events, weddings and for longer term use.

We are committed to trying to source flowers that are more sustainably grown with a lower carbon footprint.

During the design process we offer advice about seasonal British blooms which we source from a range of wonderful British suppliers.
