It’s been a minute!

Long post warning ☺️

It’s been a while since I said hello 👋. We have been in the thick of wedding season and it’s been SUPER SUPER busy 🥰.💍🥂🙏

The shop…

You will likely ( especially if your local ) have noticed the retail side of the business (the shop) has been closed most of the summer.
We have never been so busy with weddings and events and it’s just not been possible to do both especially, with a young family AND it’s just little old me running both sides of the business .

I took the decision to focus only on the weddings.
Some have asked “why don’t you just hire someone”… believe me I WISH it was that simple!

Work life balance…

I need to achieve a work life balance and with the volume of weddings now in my diary this has really started to tip the balance and negatively impact my family time. The truth is I had run myself ragged!

My wedding book is super busy (all year round now) 2023 is fully booked, 2024 has some availability and 2025 is filling up fast!

After ALOT of soul searching I have decided it’s time to focus only on weddings. I truly love creating wedding florals and this is the direction I always dreamed my business would go in, I never thought it would happen so fast. This will also give me the flexibility during the week I need with my family .

So…

From 1st October we will focus ONLY on weddings/ events and workshops and will move out of our wee retail shop in Strathaven and into a wedding workshop (this makes more sense).

I can’t be located in the town and not open for business- it will only lead to customer disappointment.

I have loved every minute of the retail side of the business and can’t believe it’s almost 3 years ago we opened the shop. I have been so warmly welcomed and unbelievably busy from day one! ❤️🙏

My customers…..

I don’t know where to start, there are no words good enough to express my gratitude- you are THE BEST!

So many have become friends for life ( you all know who you are). I would not have come this far without you - thank you from the bottom of my ❤️. This decision did not come easy because of you. 🙏

We are truly thankful to all our wedding couples for choosing us 🥰 and to everyone who has recommended. Thank you for trusting me ❤️🙏

Sooooo many have also been asking about Christmas Wreath workshops this last few weeks ( yes you read that right!😂🎄) The answer is YES !! WE WILL!

I would like to wish my dear friend Alanna all the luck and success in the world as my wee shop becomes her full time Yoga studio from 1st October🙌🏼 .
What an incredible achievement. You will be awesome… you ARE awesome 🧘🏻‍♀️ 💕🥂

If anyone is lucky enough to get a spot in Alannas yoga class , take it and guard it with your life . It’s wonderful, life changing and I suspect won’t be easy to get very soon !!

Morning all .

I’m so sorry for the radio science. I’ve been a little wiped out with the unforgiving shingles and pretty much just getting through last couple weeks .

Anyway…Feeling a little more human today 🤞🏻 I have turned a corner 😊.

We are back open normal hours 🙌🏼

I have just had a rescheduled wedding for June 10th 2023 , I’ve had lots of requests for this date however I was booked, it’s now available so thought I’d share .

Remaining 2023 availability..

I have had lots of wedding enquiries last few weeks for 2023 . As you know we are generally booked at least a year in advance so doesn’t always leave much availability for the current year. Anyway I’ve had a right good look at my diary , I only have scattered dates left in …
