Sunny happy smiling flowers on their way to for tomorrow when the wonderful new gallery shop is open, it's on union st in Stroud amongst the Hussle and bustle of Stroud famous Saturday farmers market . If you haven't popped in yet, I really recommend it, it's full of amazing pieces all made by local artists.
Get there early to make sure you get a bunch, they are limited numbers .

No flower post this week, but a beautiful few days with my amazing mum who has just had her 2nd knee replacement.
It was super special to spend some quiet down time with her in my home land of mid Wales. Life is so hectic, juggling my flower business, gardening work, kids, keeping a home together. I usually struggle to switch into a low gear, to rest, to not do much , I am pleased to say I can actually do it!
Love my beautiful mummy and can't wait to do all the things that old knee wouldn't let you do with you ###x

This looks absolutely amazing for kids, sadly we are away, otherwise Freddie would have loved to attend.
This is guaranteed to be a wonderful , enriching experience for budding young chefs, Erin is a total artist in the kitchen and an incredible teacher .

Get the teens out of the house and into the kitchen! We've got a Falafel Bar class for ages 12-16 on 31st July from 10am- 2pm.

Contrasts in texture, tone ,colours, form and scent. Creating art with living flowers, which has splendor and frigility , creating a mood and can evoke emotion.
It's so much more than chucking some stems in a vase.

This week is British Flower Week
A bounty of texture and colours. I have really noticed 2 things over the past couple of weeks.

1. The seasonal flowers in my patch are the beautiful delicate, airy flowers, there are not so many big boisterous beauties apart from the peonies . Mimicking exactly what is happening in the meadows right now.

2. There is a similarity between cooking with whatever is in the cupboard at home and flower arranging entirely with British seasonal flowers, and more often than not the best meals and bouquets.
