Just want to say thank to those who came last night. It was epic, although I was very busy, it was lovely to talk to a few new customers at the end. Special thanks to Charlotte from The Fresh Standard Brew Company , I will be back again in October 😉

Fine apple tart or Tarte fine aux pomme.
Thinely sliced apple, sprinkled cinnamon sugar, baked on a homemade buttery puff pastry.

You can now buy them frozen from Banana Blossom. Quick and easy to reheat.

The tart is approx 14 cm diameter, a generous portion for one or fun to share with two

I made this special birthday cake for my mother in law this week.

With my background as a french chef I have a particular passion for french patisserie. My all time favourites are everything with puff pastry and choux bun. I make a lot of these at home.

In the photos is a makeover of a Saint Honoré cake.
A buttery homemade puff pastry base, choux buns filled with a crème légère and dipped in a crunchy caramel, finishing with fresh strawberries and raspberries, more crème légère and finally a sharp strawberry gel to balance it all 😋

How about treating yourself to an earthy bowl of Pho for this awful weather?
The broth is cooked for at least 5 hours with spices, served with flat rice noodle, medium rare thinly sliced beef steak, slow cooked brisket and homemade beef meat ball, topped with fresh herbs and drizzled with tangy lime jus for your taste 😋.

Day 1 in Vietnam at my parent's street food yesterday. They sells Cơm Tấm for over 20 years, a very popular street food in the south of Vietnam. I would be happy to eat this every day for breakfast 🥰 but there are so many other dishes that I want to eat as well so I will eat Com Tam every other day instead 😁.

First bite after almost four year since the last time I ate this dish made me the happiest person in the world. I'm home again 😊.

MARKET UPDATE !!
We have decided to take our market on the road.

We will be trialling it at different locations each week so please keep an eye on our facebook and instagram pages to see where we will be. This Saturday we will be at Rucstall Primary School, Which means that all of our pitch fees will be going to the school.

We have chosen to pop up at a local school so that we know our pitch fees are going to go back into our community and to a place where it is needed.

So please help us to help support not only small local businesses but also our local schools.

I've just decided at the last minute to do Spencers Wood Village Hall farmers and community market tomorrow. It will be definitely my last one then I will be off for summer holiday next week!
