Is anyone else struggling to book Wedding and Event suppliers or knowing where to start?!
CEVENT is independent events company nestled in Sudbury Suffolk, covering Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge . We started in my spare room doing balloons and had a small store cupboard in my dad's warehouse to keep our hire items. We moved to Clockhouse Farm in 2022 as our company expanded into silk floristry and more props! We also needed our spare room back (luckily as I fell pregnant 3 months after I moved into my new office space!
It’s not just Weddings that we do, we enjoy celebrating your Birthdays, Corporate do's, Hen Do’s, Baby showers and more!
Now I can continue discussing what we offer, but let me tell you about what we avoid doing:
• Making unrealistic promises and failing to meet expectations
• Taking on projects that we do not have the resources to complete
• Implementing hidden fees such as VAT, or administrative fees - all our fees are given at the time of the quote.
• Charging for modifications to your booking. We never do.
• Being slow to respond to your messages or emails. I strive to reply within the hour.
• Using fake photos or reviews. All content we use is authentic.
• Attempting to sway your decision or offering something completely different from your vision. While I may provide guidance and advice, I will never alter your ultimate desire.
• Outsourcing to different suppliers unless we explicitly inform you that we do not have a specific item you want. In such cases, we present you with options from our trusted network, and you can make an informed decision.
Our packages are also fully customisable, you can change them as much as you’d like or totally throw them out and create your own!

There is nothing better than getting sent the professional photos of your work!
We created everything in these photos from the chair sashes which the couple chose a simple drape, the aisle florals and plinths to the beautiful hoop with faux florals at the end of the aisle.
We also created their signs for the day including the welcome sign, table plan, acrylic names for places and the table numbers!

ORGANISING YOUR ORDER OF YOUR WEDDING DAY
When organising your wedding day here's a few tips to keep in mind!
-Always include a buffer time!
When creating your wedding timeline, be sure to factor in some extra time for peace of mind. Remember, a little buffer can go a long way in ensuring a stress-free and smoothly flowing wedding day.
-Check with times for suppliers especially your hair and beauty if required.
You need to be able to know when suppliers are turning up on the day to create your wedding day! If you are having hair and makeup for your wedding party, check with them to see how long they require for you and your party so that you can get the wedding party organised for their hair and makeup including yourself. This will help you to know what time to wake up and have a shower and some breakfast before they arrive.
-Getting Dressed
Aim to get dressed an hour to an hour and a half before the ceremony, this will leave enough time for you to have any pre wedding photos with your wedding party or first glances as well as leaving time to speak with your registrar if required. If you need to travel to your ceremony, leave enough time to get to the venue.
- Leave reserved seating signs on any chairs you would like specific guests to sit.
If you have any elderly guests or guests with disabilities, this is perfect for ensuring there is space for your guest to enjoy your ceremony. It is also perfect for any family members you'd like to sit at the front.
-If your budget allows, hire entertainment for your guests to enjoy after the ceremony whilst you have your couple photoshoot.
Whether this be live music, garden games or even a magician! It will help keep the excitement up on the day whilst people mingle.
