Not only this, but we have prepared a very unique show for you taking you on a journey through each era of Pink Floyd (the 1960s Syd years through to Dark Side, WYWH, Animals and The Wall). Accompanied by a spectacular lighting, laser and visual projection show, it's the most ambitious and exciting production we have staged to date and are so excited to share it with you. An exciting day yesterday as we hosted Evan Davis and BBCR4 PM team for a live broadcast discussing Sudbury and interviewing some local traders (listen again on ).

Then and Jamie Cunliffe on piano delighted a packed house with a telling of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. We can’t thank Anthony enough for gifting this amazing evening as a fundraiser for the work we do here with vulnerable members of the community.

Every year, Anthony, who is the Director of tours this enthralling performance, bringing to life Scrooge and all the other characters of the book, entirely free of charge to raise money for good causes. THANK YOU so much Anthony and Jamie, and thanks to those of you that came and donated.

St Peter’s is a welcoming cultural and community venue at the heart of Sudbury that provides enriching social experiences.

St Peter’s is not only a prominent landmark, it is also Sudbury’s main venue for large events. It is already well used for a range of activities, but with leaking roofs, inadequate kitchen/bar space, and lack of toilets, the long-term use of the building is uncertain. It is in need of urgent repairs and new facilities, along with an expanded and enhanced program of activities and events to make it sustainable for future generations.

The project to regenerate the building has secured initial support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and work is now well underway to develop plans for its transformation to:

  • Undertake urgent repair work to ensure the historic fabric is preserved.

  • Create a venue that meets the 21st century needs of Sudbury’s expanding community. Crucially this will involve ensuring that the venue is accessible for all.
