…and just like that we did what is CURRENTLY -and accidentally- our last public gig of the year!! 🫣😢😂

You may know 2025 was a bit of a weird year for Polly & Jade with the childling having big scary surgery 😰 so quite frankly, not a lot of work was put into booking regular gigs what with not knowing when that would be, and then getting through it all (which we did with only ONE unavoidable gig postponement!! With thanks to Prince Sudbury for being so understanding 😇)

It means we’ve actually done exceptionally well to have been gigging almost every weekend regardless and we couldn’t be more grateful to all those who have booked us for weddings and parties this year, as well as those pubs who reached out for us to get dates in, and anyone who has simply spread the word or supported us at all, we appreciate you so much!! 😍

Things are good now thanks to our fantastic NHS, but as it’s a bit last minute for 2025, we’ve decided to focus our attention on new material and booking up 2026 a little, so if you haven’t had a message about that yet and want to get in a date or two then let us know!! 🎸

Before we catch you up on our most recent gig, we thought we’d show you our few silly pics from Luke and Tamara’s wedding recently!!

It was an exciting night full of all kinds of revelations and surprises and a good time was had by all!!

Mammoth photo dump from a recent wedding that had it all: monsoon scale downpours, beautiful sunsets, gig dogs, gig horses, macaroni cheese (why would you ever need anything else?? Mac st Kitchen) confetti, goofing around, fairy lights, laughs, a crazy crowd and a truly brilliant (&so much fun) Bride and Groom- all only 10minutes from our house!!!? THE ABSOLUTE LUXURY OF BEING HOME BEFORE 2/3AM! 🤩🥳

Sarah and Mark, THANKYOU for giving us the pleasure of joining you for your awesome celebration and for being so incredibly kind and sweet to us. We had an absolute blast!

Thankyou also for the glowing review, we’re hoping our heads will have shrunk down enough to get in the car tomorrow where we’re off to another garden wedding…🥰

We’ve done a lot of garden weddings this year, it WOULD be nice if it could maybe not rain for just ONE of them? People might start thinking we bring it with us? I mean… it’s kind of ship like I suppose but 😬

Come on shipmates, if we all wish hard enough we might just manage to go home with dry stuff… 😝

We’ve often been very good at reminding you and ourselves that we’re musicians, not photographers and last night’s gig was no exception…

Fun times were had, but who wants to see us doing our thing on stage? NO-ONE, SILLY!!!?

Last week we dropped anchor at a very wet but still very lovely garden engagement party!

As usual, we did a stonking job of getting some pics 🤦🏼‍♀️ but there are one or two gooduns in there -and anyway we’re a band not photographers so shudup 😝

It’s the first time we’ve ever set up behind a bush haha and it felt kind of strangely magical to look through and see such a beautifully decorated garden full of happy people dancing in the glistening rain?
Definitely a bit soggy though…😅

🥳 We had a lovely time playing at Josh and Rachel’s wedding at the weekend!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the happy couple! 🥂

Jade was very happy to have a mini stage (we couldn’t all fit on for height reasons lol but it made a great drum riser!) and did a great job of DJing for the rest of the night after we finished!

We have a little break now for a mini-holiday but then we’re back for a garden engagement party! 💍🥳⛲️
