Mammoth photo dump from a recent wedding that had it all: monsoon scale downpours, beautiful sunsets, gig dogs, gig horses, macaroni cheese (why would you ever need anything else?? Mac st Kitchen) confetti, goofing around, fairy lights, laughs, a crazy crowd and a truly brilliant (&so much fun) Bride and Groom- all only 10minutes from our house!!!? THE ABSOLUTE LUXURY OF BEING HOME BEFORE 2/3AM! 🤩🥳

Sarah and Mark, THANKYOU for giving us the pleasure of joining you for your awesome celebration and for being so incredibly kind and sweet to us. We had an absolute blast!

Thankyou also for the glowing review, we’re hoping our heads will have shrunk down enough to get in the car tomorrow where we’re off to another garden wedding…🥰

We’ve done a lot of garden weddings this year, it WOULD be nice if it could maybe not rain for just ONE of them? People might start thinking we bring it with us? I mean… it’s kind of ship like I suppose but 😬

Come on shipmates, if we all wish hard enough we might just manage to go home with dry stuff… 😝

We’ve often been very good at reminding you and ourselves that we’re musicians, not photographers and last night’s gig was no exception…

Fun times were had, but who wants to see us doing our thing on stage? NO-ONE, SILLY!!!?

No, instead here’s a picture of us by the chip fryer in a pub kitchen/business chats room at the moment we realised we’d taken no photos at the actual gig. 🤓

Last week we dropped anchor at a very wet but still very lovely garden engagement party!

As usual, we did a stonking job of getting some pics 🤦🏼‍♀️ but there are one or two gooduns in there -and anyway we’re a band not photographers so shudup 😝

It’s the first time we’ve ever set up behind a bush haha and it felt kind of strangely magical to look through and see such a beautifully decorated garden full of happy people dancing in the glistening rain?
Definitely a bit soggy though…😅

🥳 We had a lovely time playing at Josh and Rachel’s wedding at the weekend!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the happy couple! 🥂

Jade was very happy to have a mini stage (we couldn’t all fit on for height reasons lol but it made a great drum riser!) and did a great job of DJing for the rest of the night after we finished!

We have a little break now for a mini-holiday but then we’re back for a garden engagement party! 💍🥳⛲️

Thankyou all at the Halberd Inn for being such a beautiful crowd and saying such lovely things to us at the end too!

Here’s a video of us cooling down with the last song before home time. Everyone shattered from dancing and singing along so well all night, it was really good fun!!

We had a great time with George and his lovely mates who surprised him with a big old birthday bash in a local sauna a couple of weeks back! (😜)

Like all good pirates, we don’t usually pick favourites but this lovely little pickle (not you George!🤪) on the dancefloor singing her heart out made us insanely happy! She’ll be up on stage rocking out before too long we’re sure of it!!!! 🤘🏻🎸🎤😍

Anyway, not that she stole the show or anything but she did put most people to shame (&that’s saying something 🕺🏼💃🏻😝🤩)

A fab time had by all and HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!!! 🎂🍾🥳
