First look marquee moments for Tessa & Alex..

as sumptuous moss linen provided the foundation for undulating bud vases of tumbling British blooms, filling the space with the sweet scent of garden roses. Pearl beaded plates reflected the artisanal foundation of the venue, with watercolour stationery illustrations and an ethereal white bow. Cane back chairs completed the look, with green velvet seat pads that together with their bespoke bar & lamps instilled the warmth of home… a feeling which exuded the sense of a glorious dinner party, as an abundance of candlelight infused an atmospheric glow as guests chattered over vibrant sharing dishes.

One element I loved so much about this wedding was a sensitivity to sustainability, , where this celebration was hosted, champions zero waste, regenerative farming & rewilding, as a venue they are carbon negative and biodiversity positive. Almost all of the four days of celebration were powered by renewable energy and at the heart of their ethos a reminder of the restorative nature of a deep connection with others, self and the world around us.

So thought provoking and such an honour to work in collaboration with this sacred space, this wedding will stay with me and forever inspire me with more thought around how we can be more sustainable in this industry.

I adore the endless possibilities of a marquee, an impressive blank canvas (literally) with grandeur of scale, yet the softness of the sail cloth, set within the most beautiful of English countryside destinations to bring a bespoke vision to tangible reality.

For A & R we focused on a celebration of the surrounding Norfolk countryside, bringing the outside in with tumbling bowls of British blooms & beautifully framing views beyond with elegant draping, for an elevated guest experience for this private estate wedding.

Eleni & Claire’s breathtaking summer alfresco ceremony, immersed in florals & enveloped in love as billowing floral meadows encircled the space where vows were shared. Spring magic as the iconic great conservatory was the foundation for this UK destination wedding. Filled with British blooms in an elevated, tonal green and white palette to draw the outside in, for a classically elegant celebration.

Tone and form drew upon the spectacular architecture of the space, from Firenze plates to hark to the neoclassical heritage of the space & emulate the circular architectural detailing, to cascading chalk linen & opulent glass surrounds. Tropical foliage influences balanced with quintessential British blooms evoked a little romance & enchantment, in contrast dark wood chairs grounded the palette and added an elegant nod to the black tie dresscode. Finally a flourish of ribbon, embroidered scalloped napkins & tonal candles added movement & texture, enhancing the spectrum of sage, olive & foliage within the palette, infusing romance.

Attabara was an embrace of homely warmth, a wholesome rural idyll, nestled in the Hampshire countryside and enveloped in love. It was the name of my grandparents’ home; a retreat from suburban London life, where me and my sister adored time spent foraging in woodlands, feeding the chickens and cosying up by the fire. It embodied hospitality in its purest sense, a warm embrace, a heartfelt welcome and life shared around the dinner table. The simplest moments, that hold an abundance of sentimentality.

It was here I discovered a passion for hospitality, for hosting people and creating a space of authentic togetherness. I recognised the simplicity of gathering round a table as a restorative antidote to a fast paced world and the significance of these fleeting moments shared that form my fondest memories.
