Hello and welcome! 🫶🏻 I’m Jess, the heart behind Olivehill Garden. With a new addition to our little team and so many new faces here, it’s the perfect time to reintroduce myself! Originally from Southport, I now call the North East home. I met my husband Mike when I was 15 (20 years ago!), and after years of traveling back and forth, I moved to Sunderland. I’m a proud mum to Olivia, Hugo, and our newest little love, Remy. I founded Olivehill Garden in 2022 after studying floristry at Houghall College in Durham. My journey has led me to focus exclusively on weddings and seasonal events, and I truly love every moment of it. The name Olivehill Garden is deeply personal to me—it’s inspired by two special people in my life: my daughter Olivia (affectionately called Olive) and my mum Hilary (Hill). My passion for flowers runs beyond the studio—I adore spending time in my garden, where I grow some of my own blooms. Last year, I added a little personal touch to my bridal bouquets with homegrown flowers, and I can’t wait to grow even more this year. Of course, I couldn’t do it without my amazing team. They’re with me every step of the way—whether we’re prepping, creating, or delivering floral magic for our couples. With wedding season just around the corner, I’m so excited to start designing and bringing beautiful floral visions to life.
