For the safety of our staff with rising tension in the City Centre, Laser Quest Sunderland and other activities including our escape rooms and mini golf will regrettably be closed from 17:00 today.
We hope that this is an unnecessary precaution, but along with a lot of other local businesses we cannot take the risk to our team or venue.

Not my usual post, but tomorrow morning from 8am onwards at The Peacock, some locals are organising a street clean-up around the town, anyone who wants to help support a street clean-up around Keel Square, other affected areas of the city centre and Aldi in the Millfield area, is welcome to join. A huge thank you to those who initially put this idea forward!
Not 100% sure of the damage but would be great to get the area looking it's best asap.
I work with students at the Uni, many foreign and many from different backgrounds, and they have commented how much they like it here, always makes me happy that they have been made to feel welcome in the city, but stuff like tonight will be terrifying for them, I'm so angry, but we cannot let what has happened tonight define what this city is.

We provide a full briefing and all the equipment you need. Each player is kitted out with a futuristic body pack and carries a laser phaser. Each game is played in the Laser Quest labyrinth, with catwalks, mazes, swirling fog, special effects, music and lights.
You score points when you zap your opponents but lose points when they zap you. Up to 30 players can compete in 20-minute sessions. From team to solo games, there is a format suitable for you. Scores are displayed on monitors at the end of the game with each player receiving their own iconic Laser Quest score card!

๐ค What if fewer players turn up on the day?
๐ We understand that organising a party can be stressful, so we try to be as flexible as possible. We recommend booking for what you think will be your maximum number of children and then keep us posted on any changes. We would ideally like final numbers at least a week before the party, after which it is to the discretion of the manager if a refund will be offered.

๐ Laser Quest is completely safe, and is a non-contact activity, meaning that, at no time, is there any physical contact. The laser beams emitted from the phasers are also completely safe too. Our staff are fully trained and will give clear, detailed and easy to understand game briefing and safety rules before the game session starts.
Any parents who are concerned about safety are welcome to assist in supervising the game in the arena.
