We could tell from the cheers during the service that there was going to be some class party vibes from this crowd and they did not disappoint. 🤍It opened for weddings for the first time this year following a massive renovation. This wedding of Lena and Kevin being the first EVER wedding there. Kevin and his social enterprise team at the North East BIC were part of the early funding stages of this renovation making this wedding extra special to them both 🤍

🤍Amy is incredible. It’s hard to tell from the photo but the tide was coming in here quickly and roughly. One month prior she was trekking up mountains in the Lake District and climbing into fresh water pools for a swim. Oh and she’s carrying twins! I have no doubt her babies are going to be strong little adventurers like their mama 🤍

🤍In my Sunderland studio I have had lots of women come to newborn shoots and say they wish they had got bump photos but didn’t feel good about their bodies or bump at the time. I have teamed up with Louise and Aimee and we are on a mission to change that. Amy had these nerves too but after her make up session and photoshoot, then again after she saw the photos she said that she felt incredible and loves the photos and even seeing herself and how amazing she looks. Myself, Louise and Aimee want North East mother-to-be’s to feel empowered and good about themselves. Our bodies are incredible and capturing your baby’s first home is a memory you won’t regret capturing 🤍

🤍Louise and I will be collaborating on all of my future booked in maternity sessions to ensure our mamas feel like the goddesses they are. When women feel confident it shows in the photos 🤍

🤍Aimee is the seamstress wizard who turned a wedding dress into a beautiful maternity outfit which fitted this beach setting perfectly and showed off Amy’s stunning bump. I have more upcoming maternity shoots approaching where we will be collaborating and I can’t wait for many more future collabs to come. We feel so strongly about how the pregnancy journey is such a massive milestone, and should be celebrated as much if not more than a wedding. Every pregnant mama deserves to feel like they are a goddess.
