Join us as we investigate this HUGE location in Liverpool. Dating back to 1874 used as a Seaman's Orphanage which housed and educated hundreds of children. Then in 1954 a new chapter began as the building then became Newsham Park Mental Asylum. Is said it housed some notorious patients, including Ian Brady.

With old wards, corridors, an old cinema room, staff locker room, laundry area and the Naughty Boys Corridor to investigate this really is a Ghost Hunters dream!

Ryton Masonic Hall 25.5.24

Well after a disasterous start with our venue double booking us Ryton Masonic Hall answered the call and all our guests with great understanding saved the night. As soon as we make contact with the theatre we will be in touch with you all.

So..... We started our night a little later and a little stressed with our Seance in the main hall. Two guests had an unknown entity touch them, the tables felt like they were vibrating and shadows could be seen in the corner of the room. It felt uneasy and had us all on edge.

Danielle and Shannons team - In the main hall they had intelligent responses with questions with lights showing on the rem-bear. A figure could be seen on the SLS sitting on the seat near the table and in front of the rem-bear. On the planchette the spirit was playing games, giving us answers then saying they were joking on. The spirit speaker was telling us there name was Ian and kept repeating this name until we acknowledged them. Upstairs on the ouija board a spirit calling themselves 'bee' came through and this name also was shouted from the spirit speaker. The mask experiment proves eventful as the spirit shown themselves and then turned to show themselves to Danielle.

Carrie and Andy's team - Both ouija board and planchette was very quiet. On the mask experiment a spirit claiming they were a French slave /servant come through and also started talking French on the spirit speaker. The table tipping in the kitchen was active and all guests could hear what sounded like carnival music and what sounded like doors slamming.

I'm sure I've missed loads as it was an absolute amazing night so feel free to help fill in the blanks.

Once again we thank all our guests for their their understanding and making our night.
