Our Sandwich Van Sales Drivers travel to numerous workplaces within approximately 40 mile radius of the hub. Each van has a specific number of stops that they visit once / twice daily (Mon-Fri). Once at the call, it's time to lift the delivery hatch and serve the customers, before moving on to the next call.

We serve a wide range of hot and cold food including sandwiches, salads, wraps, jacket potatoes, breakfast options plus lots of ambient products and drinks.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, personable and will greet our hungry customers with a smile! Accuracy is required for cashing up, stock control and all necessary paperwork, and all of our team are expected to work to very high standards of hygiene at all times.

Monday to Friday - 7.00 am to 3.30 pm - No bank holidays or weekend work.

Not only will you be part of an incredible team, we also offer the following benefits:

It is 2024 and we are starting the year with a bang! We are constantly reviewing our businesses and developing ways to grow further, and this year we wanted to build on our successes. In December last year we made the decision to open a second hub for our Sandwich Van business, and by the end of the year we had identified a new location and viewed some potential premises. We selected Bingham in Nottingham for our next hub, the reason was the accessibility to Nottinghamshire which covers a large area of towns and also businesses, plus giving us a better pool for recruitment. With a view to replicating the success of our current hub in Swadlincote, we signed the lease, ordered 4 x new Jiffy vans, and started the recruitment process. Over the next 4 weeks, the team worked hard to get the new hub up and running, and this week we have a new team of 4 drivers in place, with a 5th member due to start with us in March, plus a delivery driver specifically to take food across from our HQ to the new hub. Training started on Monday with our new recruits joining our current van drivers, and after 3 days training, today is the first day our new hub is in action! The plan is to identify 5 different areas initially, and we are focusing on the local area of Bingham, Nottingham North, Nottingham South, Grantham and Newark. All of our drivers have been allocated a route, and we are now working with them to identify potential businesses to target ahead of our full launch on Monday next week. As with any new business, there is always an element of risk, but full credit to the team who have all worked hard to get this up and running in 4 weeks, and we have a great bunch of new recruits who are all very enthusiastic and excited about the challenge! We plan to grow this hub to accommodate 8 vans over the next 3 months, and hopefully soon we will be able to celebrate another success for Team Saffron!
