Appreciation Post!!

In May of 2022 Irena and Andrii came to our offices looking for a job as they had just travelled from Ukraine to leave the war. You may remember Andrii left to go back to Ukraine in August, Irena has since returned home in December.

Irena started with us at Saffron as a member of the potwash team and already knew some English. As her English and her confidence grew, she decided to dip her toes into the world of events, and we are so glad she did! It was clear this was the department for her, starting off helping waitressing on small banquets to ending on being promoted to a full time F&B supervisor and assisting event managing many 400 cover Christmas party’s, Leaving on a high indeed!

We wish her all the best with whatever her future career might hold, and we really will miss her laughter and infectious energetic personality . Who knows, a new Saffron branch may appear in Ukraine…

This is the end of my 2.5 year story…
It will be my last post in this group for a very long time, but I will definitely post my photos (a few of the thousands that I did at events) someday😂
When I came to Saffron, I didn’t plan to stay so long, but in the end, it was a long 2.5 years filled with emotions, laughter and some tears!
Since May 2022, I used the phone to translate almost everything, and in 2024, I only sometimes loose the translation🙃
From washing dishes I became a supervisor and I can't thank everyone enough who supported and helped me from day one, especially when I was very upset about leaving.
Without your help, I would not have become who I am today
Each of you has a different and unique story with me, our own jokes, memories, songs
My tears over the past week have said more than I can describe how much I will miss you
But I will definitely come back and hug each of you again, and I will never forget this incredible company❤️❤️❤️
