It’s taken a while to put this post together as I still can’t believe it’s all real.
Danielle was an amazing friend who always looked out for you. Funny as f**k and an incredible talent.
She always tried to be a positive for others and didn’t really care about all the being the big DJ bo****ks and valued people kindness and community above everything. So many great memories of us DJing, hanging out, mucking around.
The world is missing a brightly shining star in every sense of the word. She will be in all our hearts forever.

Love you and miss you Danielle x

I’ve just about come round today after another incredible year
It was a quick in and out this time but i still managed to catch up with some of my love international family, dance and hear lots of inspiring music.

I first saw Greg Wilson at his very first comeback gig at Danny Webb's 'Music Is better' clubnight way back in 2003. It was dreary, rainy, December night in Manchester at the now long defunct 'The Attic' on Oxford Road.
Although it wasn't that busy Greg had clearly brought out some people for the gig with notable heads from over the Pennines including Ralph Lawson. Everybody was blown away by the exclusive edits and Reel R2 Reel spins.

We had only just started El Diablo's Social Club back then and was instantly inspired. After the show we went about booking Greg for a party in Manchester as soon as we could.

I can't actually remember where that first one was but a particularly memorable one was in the basement of Centro (Now a sports bar on Tibb St in the Northern Quarter). We continued to book Greg regularly. A relationship grew and years later Greg asked me to help out with a few events he wanted to do do in Manchester. Another memorable being a Record Store Day takeover at the infamous DRY Bar on Oldham St. which had the late Howard Marks as compare!

Two decades on I am honoured to be involved in an another show to celebrate Greg's return to DJing.

Tonight I welcome my good friends and .dannyrussell for a special one off at for Camino del Salford.

Both originally hailing from the rainy city - Billy is a native New Yorker and Danny resides in Berlin. Both are involved in the scenes of their respective cities and both are great djs too.

After an extended stint living in Sydney and nearly 6 years since the last my love for putting on parties on has returned and I’m buzzing to be sharing events with you again.

This Wednesday we welcome the immensely talented AKA AKA Jim from and my occasion production partner (as Ron And Neil - seen in pic DJing together on boat party many moons ago)

I was lucky enough to hear some early versions of Phoenix and Across the street on the last night of Gottwood in 2018 (I think!) and was blown away!

It’s been great to see the project fully realised in its full band form and I’m excited and honoured to be able to bring it to Manchester for the first time. It’s going to be a special one.

I almost forgot to mention the huge talent that’s in the band either! .j.smith_uk

First up! This Wednesday we have - Jim aka Ron Ron Basejam aka Jim from Crazy P and my occasion production partner (Ron&Neil) in the Pink Room at YES.

I was lucky enough to hear some early versions of 'Phoenix' and 'Across the street' back at their digs on the last night of Gottwood Festival in 2019 (I think!) and was blown away!
It’s been great to see the project fully realised in its full band form and honoured to be able to bring it to you all at YES this Wednesday.

Spring has sprung and that's means it's Bank Holiday time! Over the weekend I have a couple of nice, local gigs in Manchester. First up I will be changing records at the evergreen YES from 10PM till Close. Then on Sunday I am supporting my ol buddy Danielle Moore as she does a Crazy P set at The Blues Kitchen - Manchester Come kiki! x
