5 years ago today on Cinco de Mayo, we launched Cwtchitas into the world thanks to & (big love as always) That’s right amigos, we’ve been slinging tacos for a full 5 years and we cannot believe it! Today also marks 2 years of being at our home who are throwing us a party with a mariachi band, tequila tasting and loads more.

You can catch our OG menu item - pork pibil - on special today only to celebrate.

We’d just like to say a massive gracias to all the other businesses we have worked with over the 5 years, everyone who has helped us, our amazing team, Kal, Sam & Nancy (and the many helping hands who’ve been roped in along the way 👀) and of course to our amazing customers who have seen us through ups, downs and a global pandemic. We wouldn’t be here without you ❤️ we are eternally grateful.

Amigos! We are bringing back Mexico City’s most outrageous street food - Dorilocos. This translates to literally Crazy Doritos, and boy aren’t they just that! It’s hard to put what they taste like into words, but we can guarantee you wouldn’t have tasted anything like them before!

Doritos topped with cubed cucumber, our spiced peanuts, feta, house pink pickles, coriander, radish, lime juice, chilli lime salt, flip flop sauce, chamoy (an addictive sweet-salty-sour sauce made from pickled fruit) and Gummy bears... yep you read that right, Gummy bears! It's outrageous, it’s loco man!! It sounds wrong, but tastes sooooo right! A surprise in every bite, and you are not going to find it anywhere else, only

Swansea] first Mexican brunch, bringing back our classic brunch menu with a few new bits. That’s right folks, a whole year ago since ‘guac gate’ and the review they thought would ruin us. It kinda backfired, and highlighted just how fed up hospitality staff are of being treated like crap. We again, would like to thank everyone for their support then, and continued support now, it means the world and we really appreciate every single one of you.

¡Hola! At Cwtchitas we are wife and wife team Sara & Jordan. That's us there on the right, clearly living our best lives.

We usually trade out of our beloved trailer - Frida, who can be quite the handful sometimes! There she is below, looking dazzling.

We picked her up in December 2018 and after some much-needed TLC, she was ready for action! Our aim was for her to look like we just dragged her off a street in Distrito Federal, Mexico - we think we just about got that right!

Our other aim is to bring you tacos that taste that way too. Capturing the passion, authenticity and flavours of the world’s greatest street food culture is our mission - and we can’t wait for you to try our take on Mexico’s legendary antojitos (“little cravings”).
