Unit Nineteen is an event space in Little Wind Street, Swansea. It's home to Street Food Friday, LIVE Saturday, yoga & wellbeing classes, workshops, conferences and classes. If you are after an unusual (and large) space for your own private events or rehearsals, you can hire Unit Nineteen. Unit Nineteen is managed by Urban Foundry (the team behind Uplands and Marina Markets, Last Clothing, Quadran
t Pop-up Park). Supported by Swansea BID, Big Heart of Swansea and City & County of Swansea as part of their work promoting Swansea's vibrant early evening economy.
All done. Thank you Swansea - it was great fun. Looking forward to see what happens next with the space. Onwards...
As we close the doors on Unit Nineteen, we'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us. Especially Swansea City Centre and Swansea Business Improvement District who sponsored us as part of their drive to boost Swansea's early evening economy.
When we started in April 2017 we could never have predicted what a huge success it would be. It was only ever intended as a 3 month pop-up but we managed 20 months of fantastic activity. From hosting the BBC Radio Wales / Horizons / Gorwelion Biggest Weekend Fringe to conferences to Street Food Friday to yoga & art classes to The Swansea Fringe.
We have met so many amazing people along the way and it's been a pleasure to chat to you all.
We're not gone forever. Unit Nineteen will be back at a new venue soon. So keep your eyes peeled.
Until we meet again.....
Unit Nineteen is an Urban Foundry project.
