For those of you that don’t realise (I’m sure this is the case for most wedding vendors, it definitely is for us!), although we get paid for our job we still go above and beyond and put so much work, care, effort and love into every single wedding & event we do. Getting to hear how much you loved the florals makes all the stress and hard work worth it 🥹

So grateful to be able to do this for a living, so thank you to everyone who trusts us to flower for them 🥹❤️

This is the number one question I get asked as a wedding florist is ‘how much should I spend on my wedding flowers?’… So I’m here to answer it for everyone wondering 🧐

🌸 there’s no ‘right’ answer! In truth, it’s your wedding and you can spend as much as you like on flowers
🌸 the average couple spend between 10-15% of their overall wedding cost on flowers
🌸 HOWEVER if you are a couple that really want the flowers to pack a punch then 30% of your overall wedding cost is a good budget for flowers
🌸 I also get asked ‘do I have enough flowers?’ and again, this is personal preference. But all I will say is that more flowers does have a bigger impact. And no one ever went to a wedding and complained that there were too many flowers 👀

PSA - do not let your photographer lay your bouquet flat or lean it up against anything on your wedding morning 👀💐

Photogs - please don’t do this! 🥲🥲

On the morning of your wedding, it’s super common for your wedding photographer to want to get some snapshots of your bouquet either as a flat lay, in a corner with your wedding shoes and ring etc BUT did you know that laying the flowers down / leaning them up against something can actually damage your bouquet before you’ve even walked down the aisle with it? 😭😭

Doing either of these can break dainty stems, squish flowers, flatten them and even bruise them… even if your photographer only does it for a few seconds! And OBVIOUSLY I want your bouquet to look amazing for all of your ceremony pictures 😍

As an ALTERNATIVE - keep the bouquet in the vase it’s delivered in and feel free to add the wedding shoes, perfume, rings etc around the vase to take some pictures!

Send this to your wedding photographer so they don’t damage your bridal bouquet on your big day 📸 (the same also applies to any other bouquet delivered for your wedding day!!)

2023 - another amazing year 🥳

Grateful to every single couple that put their trust in me to flower for the biggest day of their life and grateful to every client that trusted me to bring their event to life with flowers 🌸 I’ve loved every single wedding & event and it’s such a dream come true being able to do what I love every single day 🫶🏼
