A pretty wreath filled with all sorts of dried flowers grown, picked and dried all here at the flower patch.

We've got Achillea, Statice, strawflower, Pampas, Bunny Tails, and Amaranths all on a hand woven wooden base 🌸

Its that time of year when the evenings are drawing in and the cosy knits come out of the wardrobe ❄️

It's also when I start using the multitude of dried flowers I've grown and dried throughout the year to make dried flower wreaths.

Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know that this dry weather has slowed up some of the flowers in the field. As such we're going to take a break for a few weeks to hopefully let the flowers catch up 🤞 It's been a very dry summer!

This little bumble was following my bucket around this morning whilst I was out picking for Thursday flowers .

It's and I'm super proud to be growing, cutting and arranging 100% British flowers. All the flowers are basking in this bloomin lovely weather we're having this week 😎

Flower Thursday today. Lots of fresh, seasonal bunches available.

A few people have asked me recently what the difference is between British flowers and imported flowers. The most obvious answer would be how much more sustainable buying British flowers is. Imported flowers are flown thousands of miles to get to us, British flowers are grown right here on your doorstep and require very little transportation.

In order to survive the time and transportation, imported flowers are filled with chemicals to help preserve the flowers and artificially extend vase life. The flowers are often bred in a particular way to elongate their life, but at the expense of the scent. British flowers are full to the brim with scent. This is one of the most common things customers say to me, how beautiful the flowers smell.

We strive to keep our flowers as fresh, sustainable and scented as possible. The flowers you buy are picked a day or two before you purchase them, are packaged in recyclable material, and are transported minimum miles to get to you.

This is why we love British flowers! 🌸😊💐😊👍

This photo is of the perennial bed this evening looking lush and green. Lots of new flowers popping out every day at the moment 🌸 I've been planting out lots of annuals today, so 🤞 they won't be far behind ☺️

I only ever leave my bunches for 2 days to ensure that if you buy a bunch you will get the flowers as fresh as possible. Picked on Wednesday, available to buy Thursday and Friday
