At Top Hat we all love a good party but know when we have to be serious. All our staff know exactly who Angela is and will take care of you if you ask for her. Enjoy the party but please stay safe x

Over the past fortnight a dj was approached while working by a young girl and asked for the first time, "Is Angela working tonight?" - having read about the initiative He knew instantly what she was referencing, said yes, told her to jump in the DJ booth with him, (she was extremely nervous...) and in turn asked the nearest security guard the same question. Luckily, he too knew, and the young girl was escorted through the back of the venue and into an Uber immediately. Her "date" upon returning from the bathroom was asked to leave by management, he without delay turned violent and security stepped-in.
Basically, is a scheme in place (established in the UK) which aims at reducing sexual violence and vulnerability by providing women and men with a subtle phrase to assist getting them out of potentially dangerous and helpless situations. First-dates, Tinder-dates or frankly getting home alone after a night out can unfortunately (history-proven) be a risk. I urge all DJs, venues, those in hospitality/night-life to look into the concept and educate yourselves and your staff. It may seem extreme, but sometimes you may be someones only option,

It's a brilliant feeling being back to what we love best. Christmas parties are in full swing and we love it.

For the 1st time in over 20 months we have two discos out on the same night. Stuart and Mark are at the Village Hotel for a wedding while Leigh is provided the entertainment for a wedding in a marquee. It's great being back out doing what we do best 🎤🎶

Following yesterday's government announcement we are still not allowed to provide any form of entertainment for you. Hopefully we will be allowed soon. We are ready to go as soon as Boris says those magic words. Until then take care, Stay safe and look after each other x

Coronavirus may be stopping us from providing you with the entertainment for your events that you have spent months and months planning but rest assured we are doing everything we can to accommodate your new rearranged dates. So far everyone who has asked to change dates has been accommodated.
If you have booked someone else and they are unable to help with your new date please drop us an email and we will be more than happy to help.

We would like to thank Benjamin's Smile for asking us to provide the disco for what was a fantastic evening for a great charity. Hope you all enjoyed the evening as mush as we did.

Last night we supplied evening entertainment for the wedding of Alistair and Haydee. As requested by the groom he wanted to do some Scottish tradition dancing. Congratulations to Alistair & Haydee.
