🤎🐻 Starting school session 🐻🤎

We have added the first brave bear session to our booking system.

Monday 12th August 11-12:45pm

Spaces ate limited as I like these sessions to feel personal. Tickets will be on sale until the 24th of July as I have to order the stock

Would you like to create a lasting memory of when your child started school? If so our ‘Brave Bear’ workshop is the perfect opportunity to do so. You will join us and create a ‘brave bear’ as their first friend for school. Together you will make your bear, you’ll decorate a T shirt as his school uniform, you’ll decorate a teddy bear fairy cake and then they can have a teddy bear nose face painted on. The children will then enjoy a teddy bear picnic with their new friends whilst you enjoy tea and cake. We will then all listen to a story about starting school. These workshops have been a huge success in years gone by and they have worked really well for children that might feel slightly nervous about ‘big school’

£29 per child with one accompanying adult (additional adults 3.50 each) price includes teddy bear themed lunch for the children, a 16 inch bear with a T shirt, fairy cake decorating and tea and cake for adults.

IS YOUR CHILD STARTING SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER? 🍏🖍️📒

We are considering hosting our Brave Bear workshops during the summer holidays but we’d like to check if we’d have enough interest first!

Below is a description of the workshop! If you’d like to join us please pop a 🐻 in the comments and if we have enough interest I’ll schedule in some dates 🤎

Prices will be around £28 per child with one accompanying adult (additional adults 3.50 each) price includes lunch for the children, a 16 inch bear with a T shirt, fairy cake decorating, tattoos and tea and cake for adults.
We have decided to purchase the larger bears this year as the price difference isn’t too much between the small and larger one 🥴

So for those who don’t want to watch the live and listen to me ramble on (I don’t blame you 🤣) Toddler Town will be closing on the 7th of July.

As much as I’m sad to see it go I know it’s the right decision ❤️

There isn’t one single factor that has lead to my decision it’s a multitude of things … the rent has become ridiculously high and then couple this with rising energy and food costs and it all adds up and makes it difficult to turn over a good profit that’s worth the effort and time I put into it. To put it into perspective when I started I only needed to do 8 parties to cover the rent, I now need to do 14 😩 We still have various maintenance issues which are taking their toll on me as I’m continuously fighting to get them rectified and then the stay and play sessions just aren’t as popular as they used to be. When I ran the sessions it wasn’t really a problem but due to a medical condition I’m now home schooling my 13 year old so I’m not available to run the sessions any more which means at times I’m running them at a loss. And over the years I’ve learnt to value my time and not waste it ❤️

When the other units are doing so well it seems silly to be ploughing so much energy and mind capacity into something which is dragging its heels when that energy could be focused on expanding the areas that are thriving ❤️

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported toddler town over the past 10 years, especially to those loyal customers we had pre covid. It’s really lovely seeing lots of you now bringing those ‘toddlers’ back into parties in the disco and pamper room ☺️

I’ll always be proud that I gave it a go 💪🏻 Lots of people back when Toddler Town was just a mere sketch on a piece of paper said it wouldn’t work … but it did and it gave me and lots of children some special memories along the way.

Now it’s time to refocus, breathe and then go again!!! My mind has been whirring with ideas for months (too many for one person) so I’m going to take some time to decide where I’m going to focus my energy next. So many things have been put on a back burner because of Toddler Town 😕

PLEASE NOTE only toddler town is closing NOT PARTY WAREHOUSE. So many people keep asking if I’m closing party warehouse and I am most definitely not so please if you’re passing the news on please tell people the correct info as it will be very damaging if people keep saying ‘party warehouse’ - it’s only Toddler Town that we’re saying Good Bye to ❤️❤️❤️ thank you

If anyone would like to book a stay and play session they are available to book on the system. And we still have a few last minute party slots if anyone would like them or we’re happy to run some exclusive sessions. Make the most of the last few weeks and let’s go out on a high ###
