🎨 In a relaxed setting we’ll be exploring paint, textures, colours, sensory & creative play plus creating our very first masterpiece...a gorgeous LOVE canvas footprint 👣 keepsake 💗

‼️ Important stuff! Please read!! ‼️

⚠️ Do you know where the button batteries are in your home?

⚠️ Not only are button batteries a choking hazard but the lithium coin cell batteries produce a substance called caustic soda when they come into contact with saliva.

‼️ This is the same substance we use to unblock drains. You’ll find them in all sorts of products around the house including:

👉 Gaming headsets
👉 Remote controls
👉 Car key fobs
👉 Thermometers
👉 Kitchen or bathroom scales
👉 Musical cards
👉 Musical books
👉 Fitness trackers
👉 Fidget spinners
👉 Flameless candles and tea lights
👉 Light up yo-yos

‼️ If you suspect a child has swallowed a button battery you need to act FAST and take them straight to A&E.

⚠️ Make sure battery compartments in all products that contain them are secure and check them regularly.

⚠️ Don’t keep spares in the house; if you do ensure they are labelled, locked away and well out of reach.

🤩 Wow! Look what our little ARTists have created this term…

🖼️ Gorgeous Gift Of Love Canvas Showstoppers!

🎨 Each week for the past 4 weeks these little ones have added a new layers to their canvas using different process art techniques. 🖌️

👣 They've used rollers to create a patterned background, made bouncy ball hearts, drizzled glue then sprinkled glitter over the top, added footprints and handprints and finished with sliver ribbon and a cute gift tag! 🖐️ 🎨 💕 🏷️

❤️ It’s lovely to see just how unique each canvas is!

🥰 How cute.. the perfect keepsake in time for Valentine’s Day! 🩷

Today in a very cold and windy Sunderland we helped load up and waved goodbye to this van of humanitarian aid headed out to the Ukraine this weekend.
Operation SafeDrop asked us to get involved and put together a pack of creative resources and art supplies to be used in a children's home in Chernihiv which is home to 200 children aged between 3 and 14.
The art and craft materials will help to provide the children with much needed art therapy and creative time - to help them to express emotions, develop skills and confidence, alleviate some anxiety...and hopefully generate some smiles too! There's even some ARTventurers tuff trays and tarps in there for some hands-on messy, painty fun!
Big thanks to John and his team for asking us to be involved...we wish you a safe journey and look forward to hearing how the resources are received and used!🎨🎨🎨🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦❤️❤️❤️

🥰 One of my favourite toys was a huge doll I called ‘Victoria’ and when I first got her she was bigger than I was and use to go everywhere with me! 👧 💕

💭 I even remember one time I buried Victoria in the sand on holiday and we left her behind!!! 😣 We had to rush back and get her!! 🙏 Thank goodness she wasn’t washed away by the sea! 🌊 Silly me!! 😫

WOW! We have had so many lovely new followers to our page recently, we thought it was time we did a little "About Us" post for people who don't actually know much about ARTventurers!

Here's 10 facts about us that you might not already know.......

1. We run colourful, creative (and often messy!) art classes for babies, toddlers and children across the UK - we're all about learning and developing skills and confidence through art and creative play! 🎨🎨
2. We're a team of nearing 40 now - creative, passionate people who run their own ARTventurers franchise businesses in their own local area.
3. We LOVE glitter and all things sparkly, and are often known as "The Glitter Gang"! We leave a little trail of glitter wherever we go.....there are worse things we could be leaving behind! 😂🌠
4. We are MEGA proud to have been named winners in the National Children's Activities Awards each year since 2017.... we can't thank enough the ARTventurers families who vote for us and support us so enthusiastically in everything that we do 🏆🏆
5. We have THE best jobs.....when your working day involves painting and creating with gorgeous babies and children and watching them grow in skills and confidence - well you just can't help but smile!
6. We LOVE to party - both at work and outside of it too!!! We do a range of creative ARTventurers birthday parties which are great fun and stress free too....as busy parents ourselves we know how important the "stress free" part is! 🎁 🎈
7. As a team, probably our current favourite top 5 things are : 1. Gin 2. Tom Hardy 3. Tiddler (look out for some more Tiddler/Julia Donaldson inspired Feb half term classes!) 4. Cups of tea 5. Converse (sooooo comfy for work!)
8. We love to sing and dance! We sing and dance at all of our classes, with varying degrees of skill. Those of you who have ever seen our annual team Christmas song might know that we're probably not headed for BGT any time soon - but what we lack in talent we certainly make up for in enthusiasm! 🎤🎤
9. Even though we're scattered across the UK, we work VERY much as a team. We support each other, share ideas, collaborate and cheer each other on...Team ARTventurers is our superpower 🥰 Fancy being part of it? Just drop us a message to find out more!
