SoPLive are Swindon based live music promoters. SoP Live are a well established live music promoter and booker based in Swindon.

We work across a number of local venues and festivals and are the in-house bookers for The Tuppenny and part of the team behind The Swindon Shuffle festival and My Dad's Bigger Than Your Dad festival. Focused on original, exciting and new music we mix the best local and regional acts with the cream of the touring circuit. We work within a variety of musical genres including Alt-Rock, Electronica,

Indie, Pop, Punk, Rock and much more, specialising in particular on Americana, Folk, Blues and other Roots Music genres. We are the in-house bookers for The Tuppenny but also put on events at a variety of other venues across the region. Additionally we are also part of the teams behind festivals The Swindon Shuffle, My Dad's Bigger Than Your Dad and The Swindon Folk & Blues Festival. Tonight we bring to The Tuppenny the fantastic Joe Kelly with his dustbowl-dry, haunted blues and country songs.

This evening we get two sets - firstly Joe solo, then he will bring his band, The Royal Pharmacy to the stage to flesh things out with three-part vocal harmonies and atmospheric guitar and keyboard textures.

Mercurial and spellbinding in equal measure, both versions of the Joe Kelly live experience shouldn't be missed.

2 Weeks to go until this cracker of a show as we bring to Swindon for an intimate show upstairs at The Hop Inn the brilliant Ben Ottewell of Gomez fame.

As well as being an acclaimed and award-winning singer/songwriter whilst in in the successful British rock band Gomez, he has released two brilliant solo albums - "Shapes & Shadows" (2011) and "Rattlebag" (2014).

We catch Ben as he warms up ahead of a national tour with fellow Gomez alumni Ian Ball celebrating 25 years of classic albums "Bring It On" and "Liquid Skin".

Tonight! The Thursday Night Music Club at The Tuppenny presents the brilliant Steve Ferbrache.

Known for fronting acclaimed blues band The Achievers Steve is bringing, for the first time to a stage, songs he's written for himself over the last 20+ years a a precursor to a national tour that has suddenly taken shape on the back of this show.

Musically described by one of his bandmates as deeply moving and poetically articulate, expect folk/roots/fingerstyle with dashes of blues and americana and with a reassuring story or two/three/twelve (he likes a yarn, does Steve)

Tonight's live music at The Tuppenny is a slight change to the originally advertised programme. Due to 2 fractured arms (so careless) wilswoodbuoys will be rescheduling, so the indomitable Henshaw Music steps up to headline with the excellent Mexican Dave coming in to open the night.

It remains an extremely high quality night of p***y folky acoustica with soul.

TONIGHT! Live music at The Tuppenny comes courtesy of the very wonderful soulful folk-pop with a conscience of Sayers, who will be launching their brand new album with us. The album will be available in physical form, as artwork, cd etc for anyone wishing to purchase a copy.

Becky and Harry will also have couple of special guests joining them for a song or two in the fine forms of singers Billy & Louie and guitarist Adam Frost.

And if that wasn't enough for you we also have the chilled out indie-pop of English Weather to open proceedings.

Here we go then Swindon - it's Halloween, so here is a bit of a treat for you - the first big announcement for 2024!

Yes, your eyes do not deceive you - we have managed to bag the legendary Reef front man Gary Stringer for an intimate acoustic show upstairs at The Hop Inn !

Support will be from the man who helped to make it all happen, the inimitable Jim Blair!

Space is limited, so get involved and get your tix asap - they are live now online at seetickets and will soon also be available from The Hop.

Shows like this don't hit Swindon all that often (well, up until now, keep watching this space!) so don't hang around!
