Another beautiful wedding season slowly coming to a close for us โจ
Iโm so thankful to all my couples who continue to put their trust into me and keep my business running. Being a sole wedding florist can be challenging, especially when the season ends. The majority of the income I make is between March and September, so itโs getting the balance right during the quiet months to keep afloat. It does however mean I get a beautiful rest and recharge with my boys!! โค๏ธ๐ซถ๐ป
I guess I have a part time job? But when I am creating I give my heart and soul to everything I do. Our job is very intense, the planning, preparation, admin, ordering, waste removal, accounting, creating, worrying, sleepless nights, labour intensive set ups, ladder climbing .. the list goes on! So whilst it feels like Iโm being lazy come January, the rest is so needed after a full on season!
Weโve only done 50 weddings this year which is the lowest amount since 2015! ๐ฎ BUT totally intentional as the weddings get larger and itโs still only me! ๐งโโ๏ธ So life balance is key as weโve all been the victim to burnout and itโs not fun.
Unsure what the point of this post was really, to thank you all I think. Iโm waffling now. Rosy Lea florist is TEN on October 6th. Ten years of finding my way and adapting my business to the ever changing industry. I adore what I do, truly truly I do. The friends Iโve met along the way and the memories I have are priceless.
So, one final time, thank you to you all for being here and supporting me so I can continue to do what I love ๐ซถ๐ป Hopefully hereโs to many more years until my fingers are riddled with arthritis โ๐ป
So much love ๐ซถ๐ปโค๏ธ
