It’s been a summer of parties! Our last marquee event for this was for a South African host who wanted us to include his homemade biltong into the canapés…so we did on the quail’s eggs with a mushroom duxelle 😃. Other canapés on the night included seared tuna and prawn ceviche.

This is how we roll on our children’s cookery classes….learning how to chop safely, cooking with a variety of ingredients, whilst sometimes getting a little messy..

Each session the kids take home a meal for four people, a main & pud.

In addition to the sessions we run in Cirencester, we also run sessions in the beautiful greenhouse at the Miserden Estate.

A Middle Eastern feast…we always try to think out of the box and served Turkish chicken…a bit like coronation chicken but with natural yoghurt & Middle Eastern spices, pomegranate fattoush, tabbouleh (made using buckwheat so it was suitable for gluten free guests), baba ghanoush, flatbreads, falafels, raspberry & almond crumble cake, Middle Eastern spiced gluten free rocky road.

Client feedback…”Thank you for such delicious food. I have been receiving great feedback and the band said it was the best food they’ve been served at a gig!

“Having you there made all the difference, I shall be recommending you to everyone.”

I might be biased but I have the best waitresses, they wear a branded apron well!

Does your child fancy enhancing their cooking repertoire for the skills section of their Duke of Edinburgh’s award with us…?

For the bronze award they’ll spend a total of nine hours (one three hour session a month for three months) in our brand new kitchen in Tetbury learning knife skills, bread, pastry, fish and meat, as well as food safety and allergen awareness. In between kitchen sessions, we’ll send them home with a recipe file to practice at home!

£180.00 per child. We aim to work in small groups. Drop us a message for more info or to arrange suitable dates.

Easy canapés for Christmas…blinis topped with horseradish crème fraiche and smoked mackerel…mackerel ceviche on grilled ...

Easy canapés for Christmas…blinis topped with horseradish crème fraiche and smoked mackerel…mackerel ceviche on grilled tortilla wraps and chicken tikka on mini poppadoms…

Horseradish crème fraiche…1tbsp crème fraiche mixed with 1 tsp horseradish.

Mackerel ceviche….simples…fresh mackerel, crème fraiche, chopped shallots, lime zest, squeeze of lime juice, fresh chilli. Place onto grilled tortilla wraps cut in circles or squares. Top with fresh herbs to garnish.

Chicken tikka…tikka pasta, natural yoghurt…cook the chicken, chop into small pieces, mix and marinade. Serve on mini poppadoms.

Our last children’s class of the year…we’re making edible gifts and icing & decorating mini Christmas cakes just in time...
