This weekend the parties started back in full swing after only working Sunday last week (delayed Christmas celebrations for us as my daughter had been in Australia over the Christmas period).

We had 3 big mega parties, all slightly different packages but all involving party games which are extremely popular with children and their parents. I love receiving photos and reviews from happy customers especially when I'm exhausted and wondering if it's a good idea to be doing this the year I turn 50 🤣🥳 but I will continue as long as I can. Not many people get to have this much fun doing their job 😊🍰🎉❤️

This weekend has been a mix of Christmas and Birthday parties with another Christmas booking tomorrow morning for a Holiday Activity Club.

I couldn't resist taking a photo of these girls and their gonks today 🎄🤶🏻

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas ❤️ I'm counting down to the 30th December when my daughter returns from a holiday of a lifetime in Australia 🦘✈️ - then our Christmas can start 😁🎄🎉😍

We were at the Army Barracks today for their Christmas Party - I think that's our 9th or 10th booking with them, the 4th this year alone 😁🎄

The children had great fun seeing Santa, going on fairground rides and choosing a balloon, candy floss, face painting and glitter tattoo. There was a real mixture of designs requested and when this little girl knew what she wanted but it wasn't on my banner I had a go at my first ever Grinch face paint - I need to order a brighter green split cake but think I'll add him to my Christmas designs banner 🤶💚

We've had another busy weekend with parties and currently prepping everything for the Army Barracks Christmas Party tomorrow 🎉🎄

These are just a few recent reviews that make me feel super proud of what we do - you can't beat making children happy and when they're a bit shy and I can coax them into joining in the games, or they have their first ever face painting, or just chat to me about things that are important to a 5 or 6 year old - it makes my day ☺️

We had such a busy weekend, I've only just remembered to post 🫣😁🥳

Two UV Glow parties along with bouncy castle party packages - one of the UV parties was for an Under 7s Football Teams Christmas Party. There were a lot of children and they all loved the UV Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, music and party games 🎉🎉🎉

It's always nice to see a familiar face at a party and today was no exception - I've painted this lovely lady's daughter at least 6 or 7 times now and I usually try and squeeze her in too 😆 the venue was literally 1 minute from my house. It's a bonus if there's little travel involved 😁

The 'big light' was on while the children were eating so the UV effect is lost but we managed a quick leopard print before the children came back 🤣🥳

I painted faces, arms and even a couple of tummy's today (that was a first)

🎃💀👻 Last night was so so busy at the Army Halloween Party 🥳 🫣🎃 I didn't take a single photo. I think that's the 8th event we've done for this particular Barracks and it's always good, busy and fun.

Todays UV 8th birthday party at Rearsby Village Hall was also very busy with around 35 children, they were all awesome and joined in with the face painting, glitter tattoos, candy floss, bouncy castle, music and especially the games (I think it was the longest line of chairs ever for musical chairs 😁).

Everything has been unloaded, cleaned and ready for tomorrow's Mega birthday party at Quorn where we'll be helping three little girls celebrate their 4th birthdays 🎂🥳🎉

🧡🎃👻💀 Had a fantastic afternoon at my spooky-loving families house, getting them ready for trick-or-treating and birthday party fun 😁🎉🎂💙

🥳🥳🥳 We had fun on Sunday helping a little girl celebrate her 5th birthday 🎂🎉💓

One of her friends wanted a skull 💀 design but had a grazed face after falling off his scooter. So we compromised with a half skull on his good side, he was happy 😊💙 and I kept paint away from the grazes. I will never paint on or near sore skin, cuts, grazes or eczema and sometimes this means being a bit creative with my design placement or offering an alternative.

We have a busy week coming up, starting with my favourite spooky-loving family on Thursday - I can't wait to share photos from there 😊

Then we have a Halloween party at an Army Barracks on Friday followed by a UV Glow Party on Saturday and a Mega party package on Sunday 🎃👻🎉🥳😁

👻🧡 Had a busy but fun afternoon with face painting and glitter tattoos at a local pub, all the children and adults had a fab time 💀🎃

Off out for dinner tonight to celebrate my step-daughters birthday 🎂🎉🥳 then a big mega party at Glenfield tomorrow

🧡💀👻 It's almost Halloween, which means it's almost my favourite time of year for spooky face painting, usually by practising on my daughter 😆

We're so busy with party bookings now that I don't take individual Halloween face paint bookings, except for my favourite spooky-loving family in Fleckney. Looking forward to next week when I get them Trick or Treat and Halloween Party ready for the 4th year running 🧡🧡🧡

Yesterday's party was brilliant, the children all really enjoyed their face paints and glitter tattoos and joined in with the party games. Receiving this lovely review today has put a big smile on my face 😊🎉🎈

Had such a busy and exhausting weekend with 3 Mega parties - but it makes it all worthwhile to receive photos of smiling children and an amazing review 🎉🎉🎉

I am getting 4 or 5 queries every day and I have to turn most down as we are already booked. If you'd like to book Feather Rose for your children's party, the more notice the better. I am generally booked up 3 or 4 months in advance apart from the odd spot so book soon 🥳🥳🥳

A little arm painting before starting today's Family Event in Huncote. Just Face Painting and Glitter Tattoo's today so an easy set up compared to Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays parties and definitely easier than everything in our gazebo at Mountsorrel Revival on Sunday 😆🥳😴

Tomorrow I'll be prepping for 3 parties this weekend, fitted around my daughters birthday and looking forward to a girly shopping trip with her and my mum on Friday. Wish me luck
