Aaron has asked for a challenge and that’s exactly what we have gave him in Wolverhampton’s Tyler Ashton. Tyler went the distance in a very competitive fight with 3x kickboxing world champion Jack Dilloway in December & is looking to use the momentum in that performance to kickstart his 2025 charge.

🏅2024 JBD FIGHTER OF THE YEAR🏅
⭐️LUKE JOHNSON⭐️

After a breakthrough year on the boxing circuit, by public vote Luke Johnson has been voted JBD 2024 fighters of the year. Luke made his debut on the promotion at the start of the year, defeating on paper, what looked to be a tough challenge in Cam Ware by first round stoppage in devastating fashion. He then won the JBD 86kg Elite Title against Liam Derrington by majority decision later in the year

We believe Luke is possibly the best fighter on the circuit at the weight & being a huge fan favourite throughout the whole JBD Fan base, we can’t wait to see him back in action defending his crown next year!

🏅JBD 2024 FIGHT OF THE YEAR 🏅⭐️BRANDON CLARKE VS AARON JOHNSON⭐️

There has been some absolute crackers this year, but this fight was special. 2 big physical boxers brawling it out in 10oz gloves landing blow after blow but neither willing to surrender. Promotor, Jack Dilloway, said it is was the most entertaining fight he’s ever watched live & that option was reflected in the public votes. A very close fight which resulted in a draw, we would be honoured to hopefully run this one back in the very near future.

Very well deserved, well done lads🙌

🏅2024 JBD MOST IMPROVED🏅
⭐️HENOK FANTA⭐️

After watching Henok narrowly lose a decision on his debut to the renowned Ty Patterson on debut, we could see he had potentially.

This is why, when we had a late pull out to our 68kg Elite title fight, we knew who to call. Henok turned up on late notice & absolutely dismantled a much more experienced & very highly rated Luke Roberts with a gruelling 4th round stoppage which put the whole division on notice. With a rarely seen Eastern European Soviet style, he is a very entertaining watch who will be making his first defence February 22nd against Jordan Henderson.

🏅JBD PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR🏅
⭐️GEORGE SPARROW⭐️

With a big reputation of his boxing skill, George Sparrow made his JBD Debut in August against the heavy handed opponent in Sean Longland. George watched Sean stop an opponent a few weeks prior to their fight, so he knew a challenge was incoming.

He made 7 years out the ring seem like dog years as he dismantled the ever dangerous Sean, stopping him with a gut wrenching liver shot in round 3. He was made to work for the win but took the shots sean gave & boxed out of his skin to give what his supporters came to see.

We know George has plans of a title charge in a stacked 68kg division so we look forward to seeing him back on the promotion next year!
