Just a warning to local businesses, at some point today we’ve took in a fake 20 note, having looked at it next to a real one it stands out like a sore thumb, whoever paid for their food with it thank you so much for supporting a small business🙃

‼️ FAKE £20 NOTES ‼️

To all businesses in our area please watch out for fake £20 notes. Today we have had a man in who has given us a fake £20 note. Stupidly, not seeing a one with Charles on prior we didn’t know. Having thought about it later we have checked it with our machine and it is fake.

These things happen and it is a lesson we will learn from. But to the man who gave us this today, you knew what you were doing and we hope you’re very proud. Young people trying to run a business and pay bills through these hard times and you have the audacity to scam us like this. How many more businesses have you done this to?!

If you see this post, you will not be welcome in our shop again.
