We had the absolute pleasure of being the venue chosen by Sue Shapland for the latest Exmoor Extroverts Lunch! Yesterday the Sue bought 67 people with her for a lovely social afternoon!

They had a delicious menu with choices to suit everyone including, Leg of Lamb, Chicken stuffed with Brie and asparagus, roasted vegetable and goats cheese tart, salmon fillet or pork steak with sauté potatoes and vegetables ... delicious! Followed by our famous dessert trolley! 🤤

We saw our first Christmas Cracker hats at lunch today with Merchant Navy Association - Taunton Branch! 🎄

We of course offer traditional roast Turkey but also deliciously cooked Beef, all meat is supplied by Pyne's of Somerset! Along with Roast Potatoes, Vegetables and delicious gravy!

Even though today has been a rather grey and chilly day outside, Venue at Oake Manor has been filled with warmth and lots of sunny smiles as we’ve had the pleasure of hosting members of The 71 Club for lunch. 🍽️

All our guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch of Barnsley Lamb Chops from Pyne's of Somerset, Chicken Curry (an Oake Manor favourite) and delicious Salmon Fishcakes, all finished off with a delicious dessert from our famous sweet trolley. 😊

At the end of October went to Blackpool! 🥳

We love being able to socialise altogether outside of the golf club. It's so much fun, we all went to Blackpool pleasure beach and of course Blackpool Tower!!

Of course, special thanks to Steve Purchase for organising the trip and for staying at Oake Manor along with Rachel Lane and running the place while we were all at Blackpool!

A lot of you know the lovely Charlotte Bolton as a member of our management team and as a fantastic golfer. But did you also know she is the main person responsible for our outdoor Christmas decorations!🎄

We appreciate Charlie's work all year, but she really is invaluable when it comes to festivities! Charlie works extra days in the cold and at great heights to make the golf club look as festive as it does!!! Thank you so much Charlotte!

Of course, she has had help from all the team including Alex Lazenby, Eddy Horley, Rhys Greening, Sophie White and Rhiannon Blinco. Thank you to you all, it looks AMAZING!
