Really excited to share that I will be doing wreath making on Thursday 12th December. I will show you how to make a large wreath from start to finish, from making bases, mossing up to adding foliage & then adding luxurious decorations of your choice to finish. All equipment will be Provided. Thursday 12th December 7pm £50 per person paid in advance. Spaces are limited please call the pub to secure your booking 01398 388344 Mulled wine and mice pies will be served on the night .

We had an amazing day over the weekend with and teaching us about foraging. We went through some of the various diverse habitats on the farm including pasture, ancient woodlands and new woodland plantations and with their eagle eyes and knowledge we came out with a wonderful smorgasbord of delicacies to try. It was amazing to see how much there is to forage and what the different habitats produce. How many items can you name in the picture??

Now I’m finally up to date with enquires just wanted to pop on and say hello to my new & old followers. Growing up in Cheshire my family ran S.E.Matthews garden centre. Here’s me on the left, with my mum & sister working in the flower shop. I have been very lucky to be surrounded flowers since I was born. Not sure when my sister & mum first taught me to create arrangements, I’ve always just felt it was in my blood! Over 25 years later I’m still lucky enough to be surrounded by flowers here in South West England. My studio can be found on our organic farm where I live with my husband & children. Often clients come for meetings here & get to see piglets & lambs at the same time. I can’t believe we moved from London 8 years ago now! We absolutely love calling the South West our home. I feel super grateful that so many people love getting married down here. I love this time of year where I get prepping for all the fabulous wedding briefs that I have this year.

Happy New Year!
Huge thanks to everyone that made 2023 such a special year at Brompton Buds. We loved working with such great couples and old & new suppliers and venues. I’m looking forward to sitting down and finally sharing some of 2023 weddings with you all. For now this is my front door wreath which I’m not ready to take down yet.

Starting from 23rd November our shop will be open from 4pm to 7pm every Thursday.

To celebrate this momentous occasion we are going to have an open afternoon. Here we welcome you to visit the shop. Alongside this we will be showcasing the best flavours from west Somerset where we are collaborating with some of the finest producers and foodies in the area.

We will be firing up the BBQ and you will be able to buy Wonky Horn Burgers and Wonky Horn Organic sausages cooked by local chef TimZekki of Duende all served on rolls.

will be manning the bar and also offering wine tastings.

To help get people in the mood for Christmas there will be tastings of a selection of some of our Wonky Horn Christmas collection alongside some other meaty treats which we are excited to share with you.

We will have here with a selection of organic vegetables for sale and also talk through their very successful local box delivery scheme. will be showcasing their wonderful breads and treats alongside some special festive recipes that will be able to order. will be here with some of his deli treats to order whilst also cooking up the treats on the BBQ. will be taking orders for festive wreaths. You will also be able to book onto a wreath making workshop if you would prefer to create your own.

This is a free event to attend though if you pre register here then we will send you a 10% voucher that can be spent in the Wonky Horn butchery for on the day purchases in the shop.
