LED SPHERE HIRE AVAILABLE NOW!
LED Sphere Hire is available now from Press Red Rentals.

We have recently invested in a JR Visualtec LED Video Sphere for our hire stocks. Customers are looking for more creative products for use on their exhibition/trade show stands.

The sphere is 1.5m in diameter, with a 2mm pixel pitch, offering a content resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD. The options for content are only limited by your imagination. Think of it as a normal video screen, but shaped as a ball.

The LED Sphere can be used free-standing on its’ own stand, or flown from trussing, by our team of technicians.

We can deliver anywhere in the UK or Europe, but as the flightcase is 2.2m (H) and 160cm x 160cm (W), we’ll need a big door to get in the building. Also, the total shipping weight is 550kg, so it only goes upstairs in a lift!

So, the brief technical specs are:

Sphere Diameter: 1.5m
Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Full HD
Power Requirements: 2 x 3kw Sockets
Flying weight: 270kg
Mooncell Controller/Receiving Cards
Indoor use only.

EVERYTHING IS NEGOTIABLE

Back in 1982, economist Gavin Kennedy published “Everything is Negotiable: How to get the best deal everytime”. It’s a superb reference book on a business activity that seems to be a dying art. How many of us truly negotiate to get a better deal for our businesses and ourselves?

Let’s take our own business, Press Red Rentals Limited, as an example. Each week we have clients contacting us for quotes for equipment rental for projects across the UK and Europe. We send our proposals back to the client and wait for their feedback. Fortunately for us, most of the time the customer comes back to us and confirms within a few days. However, there’s always the times where you hear nothing, even after following up with the client.

When we do eventually get feedback from the client, it’s usually that they’ve gone elsewhere because they felt our price was “not in their budget”. However, they’ve based this purely on our initial quotation, and not discussed to ask if we can offer a better deal.

As a company, we work hard to make sure that we offer a competitive deal when it comes to price. We regularly monitor the published rental prices of companies like ourselves across Europe to make sure that we’re competitive. Sometimes though, we do get things wrong, which is why we say “Everything is Negotiable”

If we send you a quotation that you think is too expensive, please let us know. By having a conversation about pricing, we can make our offering better for you and our other customers. Please don’t just reject an opening quotation purely on the basis of costs. It’s good to haggle for both sides of the equation.

The build at The Palais des Congrès de Paris for the IMCAS - International Master Course on Aging Science World Congress is moving ahead nicely. Mark Allwood and Mark Stoner are on site and have put in the first major part of the AV - this nice curved LED screen using Unilumin Group Co., LTD 2.6mm LED. (Thanks to Loren Young and our friends at 4Wall Europe for helping out with that).
