History of Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd

Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd is a family run business providing customers with high-quality premium vehicles and service for all your travel needs.

Our vehicles include two Mercedes S-Class and Bentley Flying Spur all of which are licenced for private hire use by Tewkesbury Council. All our cars are owned by us so we can ensure they are always kept in pristine condition.

To us chauffeuring is more than just driving a fancy car it is about providing a service. We believe in providing the best, most reliable service possible.

Nathan decided to start this business after being made redundant from his role as a production planner while working for a large manufacturing company in Tewkesbury. He first had the idea for this type of business a few years prior. He had been walking through Cheltenham town centre when he noticed a brand new Mercedes S-Class with the driver standing next to it. The driver was waiting for the Bride & Groom to come out of the Church so he could take them to the reception. Nathan recalled thinking to himself "I can imagine doing that type of job and I could help make someone's day special!"

Nathan was unable to act of the feeling though as he was not ina financial position to secure such a valuable luxury vehicle. However, once he was made redundant he decided to invest in himself and purchased his first Mercedes S-Class.

The company name Valkyrie was thought up by his wife Leigh-Ann who loved Nordic Mythology. The Valkyrie’s were goddess warriors who rode on winged horse over the battlefield’s. They would protect fallen warrior’s and transport them safetly to Valhalla. The name felt perfect and Valkyrie Chauffeurs was born. Leigh-Ann who was a service police detective in Gloucestershire Constabulary and obtained her private hire licence in 2017, she helped Nathan with the business part time, until October 2018 when she rtired from the police and became a Co-Director with Valkyrie Chuaffeurs Ltd full time.

Nathan and Leigh-Ann have really strong ethics and have instilled those values intothe business. All the vehicles advertised by Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd are owned by them meaning they can ensure they are always kepts to the highest standard. However, recognising that there are times when they may not be personnally available, or may not have a vehicle to suit the customers needs. So they have invested time in building a strong network or like minded, trusted chauffeurs who they can call upon to assist. Meaning that Valkyrie have always been able to source a chauffeured car service for for the customers no matter what their requirements.

Both Leigh-Ann & Nathan also take an active interest in thrir online profile, with them both taking personal responsability for building the website, media posts and promotions. Afterall who best to promote their business then those with the greatest investment in it.
