Please let me introduce you to “Black Iberico” pigs in their habitat! Our first delivery is on its way from Fuente de Cantos, Extremadura. I can’t wait to put my hands on it!!! And do you know what makes its taste so special? “Black Iberico Pigs” have a great capacity to accumulate intramuscular and epidermal fat. The high intramuscular fat is what produces what is referred as “marbling” and this is what gives its meat that intense flavour. This breed is native to the Iberian Peninsula.
