Our very own star! Akbar the dog has featured in the spring catalog of Emma Bridgewater. We were thrilled to host their photo shoot here at Adwell

For the Love of Dogs. 🐾 Whether it’s a pug gently snoring at your feet, or a labrador looking longingly at your lunch, we Brits are unabashed at our long-lasting love affair with our dogs. And we have the mugs to prove it.

Loads of daffodils still in full bloom for our Daffodil Day this Sunday in aid of Sobell House Hospice, 2-5pm. The forecast is looking reasonable so come and enjoy a wander around the gardens and lakes with one of Carol’s homemade cream teas to end the day. Outdoor footwear or wellies are advisable.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all to our daffodil day in aid of Sobell House on Sunday 7th April. 🌼

Not forgetting Carols amazing cream teas and cakes available to purchase in our marquee on the main lawn! ☕️🍰

On Sunday 7 April, our friends at Adwell House in Thame are hosting their annual Daffodil Walk in aid of Sobell House.

Enjoy a spectacular display of more than 30,000 daffodils on a beautiful walk around the gardens and lakes. This is a lovely way to welcome Spring and enjoy a day out with family and friends. Dogs are very welcome to join you on leads.

Entry costs £7 and under 12’s go free. The event runs from 2pm – 5pm and you don’t need to book a ticket in advance, you can just turn up on the day. ☀️

Another busy day here at Adwell putting barley straw into our lakes ready for the fishing season to begin next month.

The reason we put barley straw into our lakes is to help control the algae and help keep our lakes clear for our fishing members.

Some of our early varieties of daffodils have sprung up and are looking colourful around our lakes. How ever the best is yet to come!

We look forward to welcoming you to our Daffodil day on Sunday 7th April so you can admire the other 300 varieties as well.

2pm - 5pm

Admittance is £7 with 12s and under free. Tasty cream teas and cakes will be available to purchase in the marquee. All proceeds going to Sobell House.
