Happy New Year! As the new year begins, the sun starts to shine over St Mary’s Church here in Adwell ☀️

We were very pleased to have delivered a 16ft Christmas Tree from The Adwell Estate to Watlington Hospital. This will hopefully give the patients some Christmas joy 🎄

Leaves, leaves and more leaves! It’s that time of year again when our gardeners are busy collecting all the leaves across the lawn to put into our leaf bin 🍂🍁

The bonus of all this awful weather we have had over the last week has given us a chance to start taking some cuttings! Our propagator and hydropod are both full of cuttings from different plants around the garden 🌿🌺🌼

It’s that time of year again when the apples and pears head over to Pasture Farm to get juiced. We managed to get 189 bottles of juice from these apples and pears with some still left on the trees in our orchard.

Keep an eye out at our events next year for a chance to buy a bottle or two! 🍎🍐🥤

An amazing collection of Salvias ( plus a few others) ready for the Rare Plant Fair here tomorrow 11am until 4pm. Plus another 20 nurseries all selling a wide variety of plants. The planting season is upon us so come and stock up.

With stunning gardens, 20 specialist exhibitors with a huge range of plants & products, and fantastic event catering, it's the perfect day out for gardeners, and all in support of the fantastic horticultural charity Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society We hope to see you there!

We are looking forward to our Rare Plant Fair on Sunday 1st September. With over 20 plant nurseries attending, there will be some beautiful plants and shrubs on sale 🌸

The gardens and lakes will also be open to wander through and enjoy. To top the day off there will be some fantastic food pop ups, each one selling different tasty food and drinks 🍔

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to support this years car show. We are pleased to announce we raised over £13,000 for Ebony Horse Club!

Many thanks again to all the exhibitors for letting us admire their stunning vehicles, all the doggies for entering our dog show, all the tasty food vendors and fantastic stall holders, all the brilliant helpers who helped out on the day and finally to everyone who braved the Great British weather!

Our next event at Adwell is our Rare Plant Fair 🌸

Sunday 1st September, 11am - 4pm

We have a short break in our programme during August, but we'll be back in September with a programme of three great fairs, at Adwell House (supporting Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society ), Bishop's Palace & Gardens and Llanover Garden . Dates in the photo!
