If you’re busy packing your school bag, polishing your shoes and getting ready for tomorrow’s return to school then, we see you, we are doing the same. We’re testing our pens, sharpening our pencils and making sure all our sewing threads aren’t tangled!

Last night was a chance to toast our incredible team! We had a fantastic feast at laughed, chatted and were genuinely merry magpies.

It’s been a brilliant 10th birthday year with successes and challenges along the way - for anyone who runs a small business will know it’s never without its twists and turns - but the best team have helped us navigate through.

We’ve dropped down to 1 studio requiring some serious flexibility in our working environment, we’ve lost some core team members but gained some fabulous new ones, there was a bereavement to overcome and more events to coordinate than ever. We’re incredibly proud to have taught over 1300 children this year across our clubs, camps and parties… and it’s a total team effort.

Thank you to all of you who have been part of our year we’re already excited to see what 2025 brings! X

Thanks to the awesome head teacher at Thames Ditton Infants school who invited us to lead assembly today. Our message was clear - all children are artists!
And thank you also to our team of willing Magpies who helped us by talking clearly and with great confidence (despite it being Monday morning and you’d had no practice) and our artists who joined in our giant rainbow painting! 🌈

This morning the studio was eerily quiet while cast her magic around and the children focused on learning how to use brush lettering pens. Not long until we heard squeals of delight as colours were blended and beautiful Halloween themed artworks created.
What a lovely session!

These friendly frogs jumped out of our infant art clubs last week! 🐸
After two sessions of experimenting with paints, oil pastels, cutting various shapes with scissors and adding details then layering it all together, these superb frogs made us smile and we hope you love them too 💚

This half term our sewing clubs have been focusing on embroidery with an eye for detail. Please do scroll through and bask in the joy of their beautiful ideas!
Our washing line project has really sparked some fantastic work from these sewing super stars (all years 3-6 except image 1 which is a teacher example)

We love the mindfulness of these clubs particularly as this week is children’s mental health week 🙌
