We were lucky to meet Richard and learn about his passion when he performed in the Cookery Theatre at East Anglian Game & Country Fair. Such a genuine, kind gentleman and talented chef/business owner.

📸 Zooming in on one of OVOTO.co.uk - Event Photography wonderfully timed snaps reveals that a 2D pheasant attack was potentially the cause of our boarder fall at the East Anglian Game & Country Fair ....🤣😂🫣

🌧 The torrential rain that fell overnight on Saturday created some pretty rough terrain for the Sunday and we were forced to withdraw from the days racing following 2 incomplete runs. We hope to be back up and running in time for Burghley at the end of May. 💪

Day 2 round 2 …. We had heavy rain through the night & all morning so the ground conditions had changed tremendously. The course was wet, muddy & very slippery, all the teams were struggling. The first rotation of the morning heats Josh came off his board through the chicane, the second rotation we took it steadily & put in a decent time which put us in joint first with the Danger Donkeys, the third rotation we increased our speed which pushed us into 1st place 🥇😀 we also took the bonus point 💪🏼
Afternoon heat & the ground was muddier than the morning & we were racing in more rain but we had adjusted to the conditions & put down 3 really good times beating ourselves & everyone else on every rotation getting faster 😀 putting us in 1st🥇 place & taking the bonus point again. 🤗
We finished the weekend with another 1st 🥇 & putting more points between us & 2nd place winners Danger Donkeys which was our aim of the weekend.
Twiggy is half the size of Danger Donkeys horse, Will. Will is a big ex racer & can cover a lot of ground much faster than little 14.2 Twiggy so the more points we can put between us early on in the season the better 😀

Looking forward to round 3 which takes place at Burghley, hoping it’ll be a dry hot weekend 🥴🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Day 1 of round 2 …. First time we’ve raced at East Anglia & the course had a slightly different lay out due to the shape of the arena as well as uneven ground, different grass lengths & various ground conditions. It took us a couple of rotations before we got the hang of it. We had 2 non finishes putting us in 5th place after 2 rotations but we managed to put in a half decent lap bringing us up to 2nd place & knocking the bonus point off of Danger Donkeys.
The afternoon rotations were far better & much faster giving us the 2 fastest laps bringing home 1st & the bonus point 😀 we finished the day in the lead with 20 points, only 1 point ahead of Danger Donkeys. We’ve got a lot of rain forecast for the night & tomorrow so the ground conditions will change …. Let’s see what tomorrow brings 🤞🏼
🏇—🏂 Race times tomorrow are 11am & 2pm in the main arena.

Results from Saturday’s 40 Bird Sporting at East Anglian Game & Country Fair

We use a points system at this show to establish winners into three categories, so the points score is how we establish the results.

Shooters can gain a total of 120 points over the 40 bird layout and their final score puts them in Gold, Silver or Bronze for the prizes unless they are a Lady or Junior as we have a separate group for them.
