And that’s a wrap…. 2024, you have been incredible ✨

Little did I know what returning from maternity leave would actually look like back in April 2024 and this year has been just so amazing! Here’s some of the highlights from past 9 months:

🤍 26 incredible weddings (mixture of Planning Coordination, Venue Support, Celebrant and Dog Chaperone - I love the variety!)
🤍 2 awards (Best Celebrant & Best Planner)
🤍 A bunch of new awesome VA clients
🤍 Had some awesome clients return after my break
🤍 Launched 3 new services
🤍 Finally had some nice branding photographs done
🤍 Rebranded and rediscovered my business loves

It’s been a busy week of script writing and it’s only Wednesday! 😍

Choosing your Wedding Celebrant is a very personal thing. You need to click, you need to vibe, you need to be 100% confident they’re going to create the ceremony of your dreams and more importantly, deliver it perfectly on your day!

Fill yourself with confidence ✨

My top 5 tips for choosing your Celebrant:

1️⃣ Chat to them!
Most Celebrants offer a free meeting to get to know you, your story, find out all about your wedding day vision and listen to what you want (and don’t want!) as part of your ceremony. It’s your chance to get to know them too and ask any questions you have.

2️⃣ Read reviews!
Like with all wedding suppliers, read their testimonials Take previous couples words for it, they’ve had first hand experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3️⃣ Look around!
Chat to a few different Celebrants to find out who you vibe with most! (But don’t delay booking if you find someone you love!)

4️⃣ Don’t worry if they haven’t worked at your venue before!
Celebrants are adaptable people. We can work in any space to deliver your ceremony (plus we get there nice and early to suss everything out!)

5️⃣Get them secured!
If you like someone, get them booked! Dates go super quickly for Celebrants and it’s usually a one wedding per day, type of thing - so if you like someone, get that deposit paid!

It's time to start chatting Christmas 🎄

No, I'm not a 'decor up in November' time of girl, but I am all for taking a good break around Christmas time.

This year has been incredible, and also full on! I've been back at work 9 months, rebuilding my business after a Maternity break. The business looks very different now as it did 9 months ago and I'm forever thankful for my clients and couples who put their trust in me 🤍

I have planned my Christmas break this year as follows;

Office Closed: Friday 20th December 2024
Office ReOpens: Tuesday 7th January 2025

I will of course be around to answer any enquiries or urgent requests (I do also have a lovely Christmas wedding in there too!) but planning and client work will recommence upon return.

This year I am also going to be planting a tree for every wedding that I've had the pleasure of being part of - so keep an eye out for that 🌳
