Our luxury, larkspur (delphinium) confetti is purpose grown on a farm in the UK. They are handpicked to minimise bruising & air dried naturally so the petals keep their colours beautifully with no dyes added & are naturally perfumed. There's a lot of care & hard work goes in to create our luxury wedding confetti. Our premium confetti range that are purpose grown in the Netherlands, carefully harvested & then freeze-dried. The process of freeze-drying produces fantastic results with petals that don't shrink, they retain their shape, they don't discolour & feel soft to the touch. They almost appear like fresh petals, but you don't have to worry about a last-minute delivery & they don't need to be refrigerated. Making them more convenient & less stressful! The petals are 100% natural & biodegradable. The larger size of the freeze-dried rose petals makes them perfect for venue decoration, such as on tables at your reception venue or to create the pathway or aisle ... but they are equally fabulous for use as throwing confetti too. They're super-lightweight so flutter slowly to the ground when thrown. Naturally air-dried rose petals ... wedding confetti that's perfect for brides on a budget. Air-dried rose petals make a great alternative to the more expensive, luxury petal wedding confetti. Why are they cheaper than other confetti? Air dried rose petals are a little more brittle than a luxury dried petal (such as larkspur) and as such don't retain their petal shape the same as other products - the petals tend to be broken pieces rather than full petals, they are heavier so will fall faster & there may be a bit more dustiness in the bag too - but they still work great as confetti & retain the eco-friendly perks of dried petal confetti ... natural & biodegradable & widely accepted by churches & venues. The big question! Should you present your confetti already portioned out, ready for your guests to take, or in a basket for your guests to help themselves?

The benefit of presenting your petals already portioned is that YOU CONTROL THE PORTION SIZE. Each confetti cone (or sachet - this applies to envelopes too) holds a set amount of confetti - so, you know exactly how much to plan for per portion. If you give your guests the freedom to help themselves to a handful, you have no control over the amount of confetti each guest will take. For this reason, if you plan to present your confetti petals in baskets, you may need to consider more quantity.

Ultimately, providing your confetti to your guests already in portions, can be a great way of keeping your budget under control.
