No shows!

It is shocking the number of no-shows that we have to deal with at the bridal boutique. As most of you know, it is only myself and Julia who is part-time. There are only so many bookings we can take and at the moment we are averaging a 40% no-show, with no contact.

So, it is with a really heavy heart that I'm having to do this. However, going forward from today, any new booking will incur a £50 non refundable booking fee for any weekend appointments. This will apply for dress consultations and alterations. The fee will be redeemed against a dress purchase, bespoke veil or alterations.

Saturdays are our busiest days. A couple of weeks ago, we had a booked out day, and 1 appointment showed up. This is not acceptable. We have even booked Sunday appointments and come in, especially and again, not showed up, no contact, nothing

I have to do this to protect my small business. Unfortunately not everyone will be happy, if you're not okay with paying us for our time then we can suggest other shops like Wed2Be which will no doubt accommodate you. Just ask, we're always happy to help.

Weekends - £50 booking fee

You will be able to redeem your booking fee against alterations, even if you don't purchase a dress from us.

Did you know that this process should start around 8-12 weeks before your wedding date... but you should be booking in your alteration consultation in the diary way before this. Your seamstress will potentially be booked up months in advance.

If you need to book your alterations in then feel free to comment below or DM with your wedding date, and I will get you booked in. It's never too early!
